Best Defense Pest Control, LLC

I had shown the Best Defense Pest Control tech. what my lawn problems were and I was told what he was going to do. I was expecting my entire lawn to be sprayed, or spread with something to kill the grubs to stop the voles, the hundreds of small ant hills and the ticks. I was interrupted multiple times by my work so I only saw him make up a mixture of a liquid spay and some powered dust. My wife told me later that the lawn had never had a full application of a powder or spray like you do a yard fertilizer. Just spot treatments with a spray and a powder. Looking back when I was told that there would be powered put down for the ants, true there was, I had it in my mind that since the ants are all over the yard that a wide area spraying or a powder application would be called for. Same with killing the grubs. I could have gone to the store and bought the chemicals needed for $30 or $40 and done what was a $450.00 job. The Tech was very friendly and what he did do he did quickly. I fell it was a lot of not understanding what he was doing and why, but all in all the ticks didn't get sprayed for so I'll be going to have to do that myself. Just make sure you know what is being done and why

If you are looking to control flying/biting insects. Hire them. We could not enjoy the outside before. Mosquitoes, midges, ticks, are all under control.

Wednesday, 5/10, Mr. Babcock arrived early which was wonderful and got to business. We investigated from the outside to the inside of the house. From the outside and the garage we found evidence signs of rodents. Inside the house, we investigated down the basement, up to the kitchen, to the back room closet is where the crawl hatch cover is located to the upper crawling space attic (primarily installations, not for storage). Mr. Babcock placed mini blocks traps where needed through out. The over all experience gave me a sense of relief and insurance that the issues were taken care of. Mr. Babcock, thank you so much for even going the extra mile by showing me other potential spots of nesting including under the hood of my truck where the air filter is located.
