Technician was on-time, professional, respectful, and explained everything about what he found. I was given options, and choices were mine. Work was done in under an hour, not in haste, but efficiently, and all parts were in the truck, so no delays. Extremely pleased. I would also add that I made an appointment the day before for the following morning, making it clear that it wasn't an emergency (intermittent problem, temporarily livable), and the rep I talked to (owner?) made it clear that if the situation changed to more urgent, I could call back (gave me his cell number) at any time and the timing of the appointment could be accelerated if appropriate. Between this level of service and the excellent work, Banner will be my first call if I have any well issues.
Description of Work: 1. Diagnose problem with well pump. 2. Repair discovered wiring issue caused by mice at/in the well head. 3. Replace well cap with a new, up-to-code, mouse-proof version.

It went very well. The new tank was larger than the old one and did not fit in the same space. The installer came up with and innovative solution that worked out very well.

The contact to engage we very simple - they have a fixed system price for air remediation - the system is effectively universal, with on;y minor changes that do not affect their pricing. The were able to meet a aggressive schedule for installation, arrived on time, and completed the job in just under 3 hours. The electrical connection (their sub) was made quickly, and they were done. Set up the radon testing device to be left in place for 48-72 hours. They offered two options - either they come and retrieve the test on Monday AM, or we close it up and send it out to the lab in an prepaid envelope that was provided. After a call on Monday morning, to coordinate with Banner, I opted for the latter, and sent it off. Easy. Will wait for the test, but they do this frequently, so I expect that the process is successful by design.

We were/are extremely pleased with Banner Water. All work was done very professionally with prompt and courteous workers. They went above and beyond to get the job completed. I was both surprised and pleased with the personal attention from any one of the Seans or Johns you might speak with. My husband was in and out during the day while the job was being done and he only had good things to say about the two men who worked on our well. I gave them an A for price because I felt they were so reasonable. I always get 3 quotes for jobs that require more than $1,000. The other two companies were outrageous.
Description of Work: Our 1956 ranch has a well. Access to the well was 3' underground. Banner Water installed a sub pump to replace the jet pump located in the basement. They put in a well extension and now we have easy access to the water. Banner will be returning to our house to add pressure to our water tank and to take care of a wire in the basement they thought was improper.

An electrical issue fried my water pump and associated hardware. We called Banner and as it was an emergency (huge snow storm was coming the next day) they were at the house in a couple of hours. The technician was knowledgeable and efficient. The price seemed high, but water pumps and labor are expensive.

Work and price were excellent. My only complaint is their timing - I asked for a call prior to them coming on an "asap" basis, and instead they just appeared. Because this is a rental property, only the tenants were there when they arrived to put in the filtration system - so I was not able to see a demonstration of how it works, AND I had to reimburse the tenant for going into work late while he stayed for the installation. Admittedly, they were squeezing this work in, as I said "asap", because the water was in terrible condition - but if I had received a call I would have been there in 40 minutes.

They made two visits and worked on my water system. The initial call they came and adjusted the pressure valve no charge. While tech was here I asked about new expansion tank and putting in a shut off valve so that I could change the water filter without draining system. They come out and and did a great job. They relocated tank and made a much neater arranement of piping. Very satisfied.

We woke up to no water pressure. I called Banner and they came out two days later, replaced the pump at the bottom of the well and identified a problem with the tank bladder as the problem. Subsequently replaced the tank and installed a softener for us. Everything is working (so far) and our water pressure is better than its ever been. Good experience.

Having no water is no fun, but Sean identified the problem quickly and got his guys out as quickly as he could. He and his guys were very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. They answered all my questions and addressed my concerns. They got my water back as quickly as possible and now it's better than it was. More importantly, they took the time to add things that will likely prevent a failure like this in the future, without significantly increasing the cost. I'm very happy with their service and plan to use them again for some other work I need done.
Description of Work: We ran out of water in the morning while getting ready for work and school. I checked the tank in the basement and the gauge appeared to be at 0 and I couldn't hear the pump running so I called this company - as I had previously spoken to Sean about a separate issue with my well. Sean asked pertinent questions to assess the situation and thought we might just need to give it some time to replenish. He told me to turn off the pump (which I had already done) and call him back in an hour if we still didn't have water. The water didn't come back so he came out and replaced the gauge (which had failed) and installed a low pressure switch to help avoid future problems with the pump. Then he determined the problem was definitely the pump. He sent his guys out as soon as they finished the job they were on. They pulled the pump, installed new pump, tested piping for leaks and electric cable to be sure there weren't any shorts. They couldn't finish because it was already towards the end of the day when they got there so they said they would return the next day. They came back first thing in the morning as promised. They added additional taping and spacers for the electric cable to help avoid movement that could lead to shorts. They also added an additonal check valve midway down to help prevent the pump from failing if its check valve failed (source of problem with our old pump). They put the pump back down the well, rewired it, adjusted the pressure in the tank inside, and purged the line. They verified the water was working as expected with better pressure than we had before.

Sean examined our old pump and explained what was wrong; after 30 years, ball bearings are worn out . He reviewed the options: installing a similar model, replacing the cellar pump with a submersible pump, or a submersible pump with fraking. We opted for #2. The crew arrived on time and finished the job professionally and in about 3 hours. Sean arrived to check on the progress partway through. We went over how long to flush the well to remove the chlorine shock. Although it has taken a while for the chlorine to disappear, everything else is fine. The water pressure is vastly improved. The specially ordered new well cover arrived this week, so the job is complete. Thank you Sean!

Sean came out immediately (within a day or two of our call) to provide an estimate of the replacement work and compared to 3 other offeres his was by far the most cost effective with the exact same quality of materials and service if not more so. Late that week, his team was eager to quickly and efficiently replace the old tank and meet our requests to move the whole water system away fromt he walls due to past condensation and moisture issues with the drywall in the garage. They also provided a drip pan and increased the height off the floor with additinal cinder blocks to help with the moisture problems. I would recommend Banner Water for any treatment and well tank needs.

Sean is the first person who asked, why is this happening? Yes, it was quite an investment, but he knew what needed to be done and told me what it would cost before I made a decision to invest. Experience tells me that there isn't much cost difference between vendors when is comes to servicing your water system, but if you have a problem and don't find someone who will fix why it's happening, you will continue to pay and pay and pay. Banner employees were professional and I felt that they could be trusted, qualities that seem harder and harder to find.
Description of Work: We are on a residential well, had no pressure, and kept running out of water. In fact, we've had a low water problem since we built the house 12 years ago. In that time we've been through no less than 5 water treatment companies and replaced the deep well pump three times. We finally got fed up. Sean Banner came the next morning, evaluated the problem and recommended a solution on the spot. He then coordinated a hydrofrac of our existing well and found that even though the well was originally 160 feet deep with the pump set at 100 feet, the pump was now set at 70 feet and the third pump was beginning to fail because it continued to spin with no water. We also ended up replacing the pump, but with a more powerful unit further down in the well.

I've been having a persistent low water pressure problem for a little while and decided to get a consult about it. I called that morning and their representative said they would try and come out that afternoon. They did. Sean spent a few minutes examining the water pump and tank and noticed that a pipe pressure valve was mostly closed. He opened it up and fixed the problem. Because it didn't take very long, he didn't charge me.

Well pump was not pumping due to being worn out. Sean came out and diagnosed the problem, which I suspected all ready. I had him replace my water tank due to age and also a new pressure switch and check valve. He came when he said he would, and even called just prior to coming, as he said he would. The work was done the same day. He sent one of his men out the next day to verify no problems when I thought I had a problem, which was not a problem, but the system only needed additional flushing of sediment. Sean and his crew were very professional, including the person who answered the call. I would highly recommend his company.

They guys were fantastic: quality work, fast, courteous, professional. I would definitely re-hire if needed.
Description of Work: I observed a lack of water. After ensuring power was being supplied to the well pump, I began to think that the well pump was non-functional. I called Banner on a Saturday morning. They arrived on-site within a few hours after completing another job(s). They quickly confirmed the pump needed to be replaced, pulled the pump, hooked up a new one, and dropped it back down into the hole in my backyard with water in it. They then cleaned up, dropped off a bill, and were gone... all in less than one hour on-site!

We were EXTREMELY impressed. Within 3 hours of our call Dan came out and determined the pump was indeed non-repairable and replaced it with a new pump. In short, in the scope of 6 total hours we had all water service restored. AMAZING responsiveness and follow-through. They even accommodated our request to hold onto the spent pump for our insurance adjuster to inspect. I very highly recommend Banning. You will be impressed, too.
Description of Work: Just after a lightning storm, we found our water dwindling until it finally stopped flowing. After checking for leaks in the lines, we tested the pump and found no water flowing from it so we figured it had been struck by lightning and had gotten damaged or destroyed. We researched water pump providers/installers/repairers and searched Angie's list. We selected Banning Water based on strong recommendations from the site. Within 3 hours of our call to Banning, Dan came out and inspected our spent pump. After testing electrical feeds, etc., and removing the pump, he determined the pump was not repairable and needed to be replaced. He had a pump with him and replaced it. He gave us direction on getting our system back on line (we have to treat our water and had to flush out the well from iron deposits before starting the system) and after we had run the water directly from the well periodically for another hour or two, our water ran clear and could be routed through the system. Everything worked perfectly. Wonderful job!!

I called Banner Water around 7:15 am and there was an answer. They sent Dan out before 9 am! He assessed the problem quickly, which called for replacement of the pressure tank. I was also planning on adding a treatment tank for acidic water. Dan was able to install that as well and worked out a $150 discount for doing both at once. He was done in less time than he predicted- just before noon.Dan was professional. Nice guy and very clear in his communication.
Description of Work: My well was cycling pretty rapidly and I knew there was a developing problem with my pressure tank. Over the weekend, I became concerned that this might do damage to the pump. Additionally, I had been planning on installing a treatment tank for acidity.

I contacted Banner Water after discovering that water was not flowing in the house I just purchased. The company's contact information was listed on a sticker affixed to the old tank, so I figured I would give them a try. Customer service people were professional, friendly, and answered phones quickly. I let the customer service rep know that I really needed to get somewhere out to the house the same day. They were able to meet my request and had someone out at the house within 2 hours. The service technicians that came were courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. They replaced the old non-functioning tank with a new one and were done within 45 minutes. A couple of weeks later I called them back out when the water wasn't pressurizing correctly. Again the company had a technician out there in the same day, despite the fact that I had called late in the afternoon. The technician was great again and had the problem fixed in about 15 minutes. I expected there to be a charge for the service call since this problem was not related to the earlier work that the company did. However, much to my surprise, the technician stated that he was told by his boss to not charge for the service. Several months after this, I had my parents contact Banner Water for a well water issue. For about 3 years they had problems with the well pump running continuously and also had suffered from poor pressure. Over the course of the 3 years, a couple of companies came to attempt to fix the problem. Each time the companies would charge a high amount, but never really fix the problem. Then, once the issues started happening again, my parents called Banner Water. The company had a technician come out to the house quickly. The technician was friendly and ended up hand-digging the well. He worked all day in hot conditions, but never complained. The problem was finally fixed. My parents were very happy with the level of service provided.
