He even did some pretty trimming and did extra tree trimming for me also, it made me happy because he did it all while he was here. Furthermore, he was very knowledgeable about trees.

Was given a price by a one tree service by Stephen Price was a greenupon contract assigned he was supposed to come back within a few days to tell me what a job was going to after a week of not hearing from anybody and leaving messages for three straight days finally called me call me saying they needed $700 more to do the job that they should have never given me the price that they gave me. I asked Steve how he could do this we agreed on a price he said if I don't like it too bad. I told him this was very unprofessional and that reputable business does not do this. He told me he doesn't care it's $700 more for the job or they won't do it I told him forget about it and then I'm calling the Better Business Bureau and Chamber of Commerce and Reporting them he says he doesn't care if you wanted A1 Tree Service to do the service we need to pay him $700 on top of what we agreed about. Not the way to do business

Highly unprofessional! I called for an estimate, I had to call again, and again, and again, it's taken three weeks before some woman got back to me. Then after another week, the owner came over and gave me an estimate, I asked him when he can do the job, he did not know, he said he would get back to me. It's now been another five weeks and nobody returns the phone call. Highly unprofessional. This company DOES NOT KEEP THEIR WORD! UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! CALL SOMEONE ELSE!! If I could give ZERO stars, I WOULD!

Prompt. Professional and very clean. Contacted many tree removal companies and also the one who had been maintaining my trees for years with no reply. I called A-1 in the morning and Steve came that afternoon to assess and give me an estimate. Two days later he and his crew arrived to accomplish the task. Excellent job!

They did a wonderful job. All the branches and trees that were down during the recent storm were cut and taken away. They did I asked when I saw some branches hanging down and I asked to take them away. I am very pleased with the work they did and I would highly recommend them.

Trees were trimmed to satisfaction. The flat-top cut of forsythia was completed per instructions. This borders 2 complete sides of the yard and was well over 10' (and beyond my ability to attempt) They initially forgot to take some excess branches (none that they cut down, but some that had accumulated and I had requested that they take since they were there) - a phone call to the office and they came back the next day for it. There were a couple spots on the yard where the grass got torn up, from the trucks. The yard is definitely not flat, and the hilly parts suffered a little, but they spread out seed and it has recovered nicely. price charged matched estimate.

Everything went great. My husband met with the arborist, who walked the property with him. He pointed some trees that were healthy and some that needed to be trimmed. We had them take several branches down - everything was taken care of in a timely manner, and the trees look great!

Excellent. The crew arrived on time, performed their work efficiently, and left the yard cleaner than it was when they arrived. The work was done at a very reasonable cost, and also included work on a separate tree that was not listed in the original quote. I would definitely recommend them.

Although my schedule created a few issues with getting them here, they showed up promptly on the date/time we agreed upon. Ended up taking down a few other trees in the area so pine tree in question would fall without a problem. No additional charges and done in under an hour.

.After calling a couple other places and getting a poor response, my Husband called A-1. Someone actually answered their phone which is rare these days. Steve came out promptly (the next day) to look at the tree. I asked him to take it down and grind out the stump. He quoted the price as $550 for the whole job. I thought that was very reasonable as I had paid as much as $800 for the same thing with another company. As we walked back down our long driveway I pointed out the remains of a tree (a trunk about 15 feet long) that lay at the back of one of my gardens. It was from a neighbors tree that had broken off the previous fall and landed blocking our drive. My Husband and another guy had struggled to move it to unblock our drive and there it sat annoying me ever since. When I asked Steve what he would charge to take that away for me he said they could just cut it up and toss it in their wood chipper and he would not charge me at all! Boy did that make me happy. As we stood in the driveway near the house finalizing things Steve looked over the woods surrounding our property. As he pointed out 2 Poplars he suddenly said "Whoa! Look at that!" He walked over to one of the Poplars that towered way above our 2 story house. "This tree is in worse shape than the one up your driveway!" He then pointed out things we had seen but did not know how to interpret like he did. He explained that the long "gash" down most of the tree was from it getting hit by lightening at sometime. Halfway up the tree it looked almost like it was perforated with many holes. Although it was still full of leaves he said it could easily fall over in a storm in which case it would most likey hit either our large shed or our house. I asked if he could also take out that tree and also grind out the stump and what the cost would be. He said $550 just like the other tree. Two days later Steve arrived with lots of equipment and 3 other guys. Within just 2 hours they had both trees down, both stumps ground and that unsightly tree trunk gone from my garden! The whole crew was friendly and polite. They worked fast, cleaned up and the price was as agreed. Steve could not be more pleasant to deal with. I would certainly call him again. Thanks Steve!!

Fabulous experience. These guys were pros, They had all the right equipment to get the job done without destroying our yard. They came on time and left the yard spotless. They grinded our stumps so well that we can just go ahead and replant. Would use again in NY minute.

They gave me excellent service. When I called them they came in at the best price and and came within 24 hours to cut down the trees,clean up my trees, and removed all the debris. Very nice people to speak to and very professional. They are insured and bonded and had no bad reports on them from the BBB. I have suggested them to a few neighbors because of the quality of work.

My neighbor has used them. My experience was excellent. Their timeliness, professionalism, price and cooperation were excellent. Their responsiveness was perfect.
