+ 3 moreOverall I was very pleased with Marks work. He started the job promptly, and finished on time. Once the yard was graded, he hydroseeded quickly to avoid erosion. Unfortunately a significant storm came through the day after seeding, but Mark revisited and ran his finish grading machine over the yard again, and added more seed. The yard turnout beautiful and I have no drainage issues or wet spots.
Description of Work: Hired Mark to excavate about 20 tree stumps, fill and grade new backyard. I also had some drainage challenges that I wanted solved, so he provided gravel in the perimeter as well as a french drain on one side of the property. Work also included hydro seeding a new lawn

+ 1 moreThe problem that we were trying to fix was only alleviated, but not fixed. There was water coming in from the outside to our basement. They dug a ditch along one side of the house and corded a 10-inch thick concrete wall. Underneath they put drainpipe and gravel. When it got really wet and the snow melted the water came in underneath. He was fairly easy to work with and generally responsive. They ultimately tried to say that the problem was elsewhere, not with the work they did, which is somewhat true, I guess. I would probably use someone else in the future.
Description of Work: We used Roderick Construction for excavation and outside drainage work.
