+ -1 moreAlthough they assured me that they knew what they were doing, the oak's fall was not properly controlled. It fell on the garage, damaging the gutter, and also broke some branches on at least one adjacent tree. Although I later called about the damaged tree(s), no one ever came by to trim the broken limbs.
Description of Work: 1. Cut down a large decaying oak. 2. Cut down some trees blocking view.

+ -1 moreThe job went very well. They took care to come when the ground was dry and drive vehicles on the edge of the lawn. They felled the entire tree at once rather than use a cherry picker and this reduced the cost by $800 quoted by another vendor. Cleanup was 100%.
Description of Work: Cut down and removed a 70 foot dead Elm tree and several smaller Ash trees in the back yard. Cut up and removed all trees and debris. Pruned a weeping Cherry tree next to the house. Cut up and removed a dying Plum tree on the driveway. Ground all stumps and left the mulch.

+ -1 moreWork was done within days, and was well cleaned up. I've used Sikes for years, for removals and prunings. Always very reliable, reasonably priced, and the work was always done promptly and well cleaned up.
