What was initially promised, was not delivered. Granted, for a variety of reasons (mainly health), before the leak, the second floor was already a disaster. Yet, when I returned and started to open boxes, none of the initial promises were kept. Nothing had been cleaned. Things were packed with no rhyme nor reason (shoes with shampoos, food with combs, etc.). It was a complete mess. They then proceeded to strong arm me to comply with their schedule. Since the initial work was not done as it should have been done, it became clear I had to do sifting and sorting so I asked them to provide me with the same amount of hours but not all concentrated into 4 days. It was not an option. They had an agenda and were going to stick to it, in spite of what the customer was requesting. The owner is a lovely man but assumes no responsibility and the manager is the "enforcer". He insinuated, the place was too messy for the job to be done correctly. I am still trying to figure out what were they doing for 2 + weeks when they packed me up. Also, as a disaster recovery specialist, if they could not deal with the mess, then how can you expect them to address a real disaster? The only positive thing were the individual workers. They were fantastic. Unfortunately, it soon became clear that "the enforcer" has then living in fear and completely demoralized. This is not the way to treat your people or a client!
Description of Work: I had a leak in the home. They were called in by the insurance company to re mediate and empty the home. They were there 2 plus weeks and told me all was being cleaned, organized and packed. Once repairs were done, they were then to come unpack and settle me into the home.
