At first I thought I had gotten very lucky to have found such an ambitious company to do the work immediately for such a small job. The initial quote was for $150.00. After the work was completed, all in one day, much to my relief, I waited for the next rainfall. Several days passed before we got a good rain. Then the rain came and it was as if nothing had been done to the roof, same leak. I called Tom and he came right out when the rain stopped, checked where it was leaking and applied a "patch" and once again I was told I was "all set". Still wanting to believe, I waited for the next rain, it came, so did the leaks, plural. It was getting worse. The leaks were all along the same line or seam in the ceiling. I called Tom again and he came out again and applied another "patch". I crossed my fingers and was once again disappointed. When I called him back this time he told me that my chimney and toilet vent needed to be sealed as well as an additional "patch" so that cost me $50.00 above the $150.00 initial quote. All in all if everything was fixed I would have been happy! Then we got a really bad, long, drenching rain storm, and the leaking continued. Tom became harder to get hold of, and frankly seemed to me to become defensive even though I was practically in tears. Then my ceiling collapsed. I brought in a disaster recovery company to help me get through this and when trying to communicate between Tom from M & M and my disaster recovery guy, Tom was extremely defensive, although no one was blaming him. We just needed to fix the leak! He did come back out, tried one more thing and said quite frankly, "if this doesn't work, I don't know what to tell you". It didn't work and when I called Tom he said that his boss wanted to check out the situation. His boss never got in touch with me and I never bothered to call them again.
