Description of Work: We had the entire interior of our house painted. At first glance the job seems to be satisfactory, but when you live with it for a few days all the mistakes become evident. It is really a very poor job done by unprofessional painters (in my opinion). To be specific, when they painted my kitchen ceiling they got paint on the wallpaper all the way around the kitchen. Matt (operations manager) told us to wash the entire kitchen area, it might make it less noticeable. Many walls were given only one coat when two were needed. You can see every patch that they did, so that on some walls it looks more like a checkerboard than a wall. I only wish I could attach pictures so you could see what I am talking about. Another reason I would never use them is that they send in different crews every day. One day you tell one crew not to take picture hooks off the walls and the next day a new crew comes in and takes down all the picture hooks. I asked one of the workers how long he has been painting and he told me 2 weeks. Only one painter really seemed to know what he was doing and he was called off the job 3 out of the five days that they were here. This paint job cost over $7,000 dollars and wasn't worth it at all. I am thinking about having it completely redone. What a waste of money. I would rate them below an F- if I could. As a final thought, they say you don't have to pay them until you are satisfied. Jay (the owner) did a walk through by himself. When we came home he was already finished. My wife and I quickly walked the house and at a cursory glance it looked okay. However it was five o'clock and the sunlight was no longer coming into my house so it was darker than it would have been in the middle of the day. The mistakes they made really stand out when the light hits the walls. I'm truly sorry that I paid them at all. It was a substandard job to say the least and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. They'll Wow you alright, but not they way you would want.

+ -1 moreI could not be more pleased with Jay and his team from Wow 1 Day. Jay, the owner, came by for an easily-scheduled in-home estimate. While their price was not the lowest bid, I was impressed by his knowledge and professionalism, and wanted to choose Wow 1 Day from the get go. Jay worked with me on an agreeable price/scope of services and they got started right away. The job was performed professionally and with great skill. Luis, the foreman, was proactive and would fix any problem areas (including adding extra coats as he deemed necessary and without charge) without the need for me to point them out. Jay and Luis also went above and beyond the call of duty. Part of our deal on price was that they could use a smaller crew over a longer period of time (we were not yet living in house). Jay and Luis became defacto general contractors for me, arranging to be at the house to accept deliveries, let in other workers, etc. Luis also became our handyman, taking on additional projects on the side. Jay, despite receiving no payment, helped to facilitate these projects. Among the best things Jay did for us was to arrange two color consultations with a designer from our chosen paint company. She helped us design a bold color palate that worked well together - something we could not have done without professional advice. I will not hesitate to hire them again, and recommend them without a moment's hesitation. These are the absolute best vendors we have chosen to work on our house. A smart businessman, I genuinely believe that Jay cares about getting the job done right and building long-term customer relationships. He has a lifetime customer in us.

The painters were personable and did everything they promised. We plan on using them again in the future. They did excellent work and a high quality job. They did an immaculate job with the cleanup. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

Two days before arriving Jay called, confirmed what was going to be painted, the exact paint he was using (with my approval) and the time he would be at my house. He and his assistant moved furniture, placed drop cloths on tv, computer, furniture and floor. 100 percent perfect job. Highest professional performance. Work finished hours before I thought. Please use this company.....My highest recommendations!!!

+ -1 moreWow is certainly the right name for the business. Before we hired them, others quoted times of 2-4 weeks, Wow said 3 days with a large crew of men and a very competitive price. The painting crew was top quality, very timely and very professional. They finished the work on time and everything looked great. Harry, one of the owners is a super nice guy and when we asked if they could come back to do a couple of minor touch ups, he sent back men the next day. In the end this was a great experience, and I would recommend them highly, nothing but good things to say.
Description of Work: Interior painting in multiple rooms, including cathedral ceilings. Painted Island in Kitchen, and built in Entertainment unit in Family roo, Moldings, window trim and doors.

I would use them again, and recommend them without hesitancy. The room looks excellent, and they even provided input into the color and approach. The entire room has not been merely painted; it has been transformed.

They did an outstanding job and I LOVE the results! Jay provided excellent customer service, he was very responsive and made sure to have everything explained thoroughly. He pointed out various options and was very helpful in making the right decision for colors. He went far and beyond and even changed the color the day the painters came when it looked that the darker tone was more of what I liked. The painters were also excellent. They were very professional and made sure that they cover everything properly, they were very friendly and cleaned up nicely once they were done. I really enjoyed working with them and I am happy everyday looking at the wonderful color in my kitchen. One thing I found also very helpful was the flexibility WOW 1 day painting demonstrated to worked around my schedule. Super easy. Thanks!

Description of Work: When I first contacted Jay, I only wanted my three daughters bedrooms painted. But I quickly realised I wanted other parts of the house painted also and Jay was not only accommodating, but also very patient with me as I was a little vague about everything. Not only did Jay's wonderful team do a fantastic job painting, they also did other things that helped me out, eg moving the furniture around and then back to its original position once they were done.. AND they cleaned, tidied and vacuumed once they were done! DEFINITELY will use Jay and his team again! These guys are superstars!

We contacted WOW1DAY PAINTING and Harry promptly came out and followed up with a professionally written estimate. Harry knew we were in a rush to paint our home, so when the weather turned and an outside job had to be postponed they offered to come and do our home 4 days ahead of schedule - WOW what a great surprise. The whole concept behind the company, which guarantees to finish the job in one day, was very appealing to us and when we received the quote we didn't even look elsewhere. They were extremely punctual and professional through the whole process, which I understand can be rare with painters. Jay really wanted to get to know you and was always pleasant to talk to and Harry was great to deal with over email regarding the quote and other details. Their crew, especially the foreman Lev, were very efficient and courteous as I spent the day working from home while they painted. They kept me posted on their progress and, at the end of the day, they left the house in better shape then when they arrived and even left flowers and a thank you card.
