Forty years ago I bought a wreck of a carriage house in Greenwich, CT. I needed a building permit and occupation permit. While I did quite a lot of work myself - plumbing and electrical work had to be performed by professionals. During that time I had work performed by many plumbers. About 13 years ago Al appeared on the scene and never left. Al replaced the heating and hot water system and repaired/replaced many other items. This 100 year old house seems to need constant TLC. Without going into further details I recommend Al most highly for any plumbing job. His professionalism, honesty and attention to your needs are exemplary.
Description of Work: Al performed a small job by rerouting a hot water heating pipe.

I heard about Shoreline Mechanical from a friend of mine who got his heating and central air replaced by these guys (his experience was really good). He told me they also do plumbing so I gave them a call. I had leaking in my kitchen ceiling because the pipes in the upstairs bathroom were VERY old. I got several prices (this one was slightly lower than the average of all my quotes but OK because cheapest price sometimes means cheapest quality) plus it was the only one in which i got a "word-of-mouth" recommendation from someone I knew. I made an appointment and they came out to my house. The guy that came out was actually the owner's son (Jon) and not some cheap labor (which I hate). I explained my issues to him and he told me upfront what the costs are going to be (including materials) and then proceeded to start work the very next day. I had a multitude of plumbing problems (most urgent was the leaky kitchen ceiling) as well as old/leaky valves and runny faucets in the kitchen and my two bathrooms. The guy got the most urgent issue resolved that same day and then came out the 2nd day (after getting additional parts) to resolve the less urgent ones. End result was I got my faucets/fixtures/leaky water valves/piping replaced and my kitchen ceiling leakage/bathtub plumbing issues resolved. Very professional/competent/reasonable prices and serious about their job. They also recommended a guy (Paul) who replaced a piece of my kitchen ceiling for only $100. Very happy and highliy recommend.
Description of Work: Replace faucets/fixtures in the kitchen & two bathrooms as well as repair leaks in the bathtub leading to the kitchen ceiling. Also replaced leaky water valves both upstairs & downstairs as well as re-do piping along the bathtub & basement walls.
