UNRELIABLE!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!! A friend recommended Servconct so highly that I didn't even bother getting other estimates. They came to the house several times and seemed professional, thoughtful, ethical. I told them that I wanted to proceed and they told me it would be 3-4 weeks. That put us at the beginning to middle of June. At the beginning of June I called them just to confirm that they were working with the town to handle the permits and they said yes. The next day, I received an email (NOT EVEN A PHONE CALL) advising me that there were delays on their current job, they couldn't get to me for at least 4-6 weeks and I should find someone else. Now it is the height of the season and I can't get anyone to even return my calls let alone do the work. The worst experience ever. DO NOT COUNT ON THIS COMPANY!!!!
Description of Work: Install central air throughout home including duct work.

What this customer failed to state in her complaint was that we provided her with a proposal for a new A/C installation back in January with a special off season price. But surprisingly she decided to wait and instead contact us at the beginning of our most busy season. We tried to accommodate the customer as quickly as possible but unfortunately by the time the customer actually requested us to proceed with the work it was May and our installation department was already fully booked. I told the customer that it would take about a month before we could start the job. Even though she still decided to wait. The customer contacted me after the month had passed. But progress on our work schedule was much slower than I previously anticipated. I estimated that we weren't going to be able to start the work for at least another additional 4 to 6 weeks. I emailed the customer with a sincere apology stating that fact and I also recommended her to inquire with other companies if she couldn't wait. Wow! I was completely shocked at how angry she became especially when it was her decision to wait till the last minute to begin with. For this customer to go on social media and slander our company for only miscalculating a start time should make everyone question her true character. JUST A NOTE: No proposal was ever signed, No deposit money was ever taken, No services were ever performed and no definite start date was ever guaranteed. We've been in business for 17 years and this is the first complaint we ever had...............You be the judge.

The ServCon technician was knowledgeable and fair and knew his trade. I would use them again.
Description of Work: The air conditioning unit was not functioning properly and showed evidence of a leak. The source of the leak was unidentified by a previous contractor. Upon recommendation from a business owner I contacted ServCon and they came out to look at the unit. Within a short time the technician identified the source of the leak and repaired it. I will soon need a new A/C condenser and air handler but this repair bought me time to save up for the larger expense.
