I thought they were the most incredibly wonderful craftsmen. They sent out clean workmen who were very helpful. You couldn't even tell anyone had been there when they left. They were just everything you could want and the windows are beautiful. A tremendous shout out to Mark, who was just incredible.

I was lucky I had another estimation for my sliding door installation. Those guys are total fraud. They made-up some "difficulties" in installation and tried to charge me extra $5000!!! Five thousand dollars. Terrible people. I got the project done by Windowrama. Excellent people and excellent quality.

Initially, I scheduled an appointment with Renewal By Anderson, based on advertising and recommendations by friends. The next day after the appointment, I figured the cost was far more than I wanted to spend. In addition, the installer was an independent contractor, which contradicts Renewal By Anderson's sales pitch of one company manufacturing, installing and servicing.

Just as previous experience with this company the installation went smoothly with no complaint whatsoever. At job completion, no further work required...no painting etc. Window treatments were removed during window replacement and then were replaced. Contractors removed all debris and clean the areas where they worked. No visible evidence at job end that anything had changed. Extremely happy with result.

I contacted Renewal by Andersen to request a quote for a bathroom window replacement, mentioning that I was planning to replace another 7 windows in the next 12 months. The company refused to send anyone over unless my husband be present (!!!) – even after I explained that I was the sole decision maker in my household and that my husband had no interest whatsoever in being involved in home matters. If, like me, you're woman who does everything in her home and makes all the decision related to repairs and remodeling because your husband is simply not interested (or skilled, or present, etc.), do yourself a favor and consider another company. To Renewal by Andersen: This is the 21st century; not the 50's. Time to update your "procedure" as you call it!

Perfectly, they arrived exactly on time and finished in one day. The windows are the best quality I have ever seen and the installation was flawless. They did an excellent clean up and hauled away all debris and old windows. We have since sold the house and everyone that was interested loved the new Windows. I really miss them in my new home. They are expensive, but worth every penny.

Excellent work on the replacement skylights. Could have been a bit tidier cleaning up after the job.

RBA did some large scale work in our house, which was fine. RBA replaced two sliders with picture windows and replaced four other sliders in Sept. 2015. Then I called them for a quote on a smaller job in Sept. 2016 and they told me they would pass me along to some other department for less than three windows, but they didn't call me back. I called them again a week later, and again they told me they would call me back. They never did. I am giving this work to an independent contractor. It seems they do not care about smaller jobs, which is pretty stupid considering I will likely have larger jobs again in the future, but now I find them annoying and unprofessional.

Went well I even took advantage of interest free financing (although if u don't pay off in 12 months accrued interest will be added to bill). Product and install was great but price is on the high side. Went with Anderson for bay as complicated install and wanted done right.

A few years ago I had an appointment with this company and they no showed. The owners called me up and begged for me to let them try again and I declined. I see them in my neighborhood so as above I tried to have them come over again as my wife called and thought she could be home by 630. They then tell me if that happens they would leave and reschedule. So if my wife changed her schedule and was not there because of traffic or a business delay, they would leave. Apparently their time is more important than my or my wife's time. I understand they want us both home but many times it is not necessary. Why would I make my schedule to be there and my wife try, but if she is late for whatever reason then the company rep leaves. That is absurd and I would never do business with people like this when there are many other fine companies out there.

This review is ONLY for the Consultation Scheduling process, which is unnecessarily intrusive. I called to schedule a consultation to replace a patio door and some windows. The scheduler was professional and courteous. Answered all of my questions. The problem I have is with the company's sales process. They require all of the "decision makers" to be present during the consultation. When I responded by saying it will just be me involved in the consultation and not my wife. The scheduler insisted that my wife be present. When I repeated that I will be the only one present. The scheduler kindly told me that's not the way they do business. We were at an impasse so we ended the call without scheduling the consultation. I guess I should have explained that my wife has a much tougher work schedule than I do. I don't know. Again, I understand the need to enforce company policy. But I'm surprised that they would turn down an opportunity to do thousands of dollars worth of work (my house has 50+ windows) just because my wife could not attend a sales presentation. There's something wrong with that sales process.

I had the same experience as previous reviewers. They refused to come and give me an estimate unless my husband was present, to spite my proof of sole ownership of the home and financial independents. I frankly thought sexiest behavior like this was against the law in NYS. At the very least, this tactic reeks of wanting to portray a high pressure sales pitch. I would think Anderson wants to stand on their reputation, not sales tricks that everyone should be cautioned against.

Timely and thorough quote, but price was 30-40% higher than other bids on comparable windows. I went to another supplier.

The scheduling of the installation was on time and the quality of the trim on the outside was as expected. We did however experience drafts around the windows as a result of air leaks around the installation, this would not have occurred if they used an expansion around the installation which they confirmed they would use but obviously did not do. We now have to spend $2,000.00 to have the mouldings off on the interior side to seal around them to stop the drafts and this cost not including the cost of painting costs which I expect will be at least $2,000.00 plus.

Excellent, the work was meticulous, took three weeks, and there were supervisors here checking all the time. They replaced the wood siding with vinyl shake siding and encased the windows. They also discovered a rotten window, which they replaced. They were efficient and the finished work was superlative.

Excellent job. We had two windows that needed reframing and replacing, as well as 4 additional windows that were replaced with new Anderson windows. The contractor that did the work was efficient and thorough and cleaned up everything. We are very pleased with our new windows.

Working with Renewal by Anderson was great. They were on time, explained the process, cleaned up after themselves. They were very professional. There was an issue with the front door, looked like a manufacturers defect. They replaced that with no question. They have come to the house twice to fix or replace screens. They are very easy to work with and accommodate our schedules. We have called them back to replace the remaining windows that we put on hold due to the upcoming kitchen and bath remodel.

The work was very professionally done. Installers kept everything clean. The windows look great.
