Description of Work: NTS had a challenging job cutting down 11 white pine trees each was 80 to 100 feet tall. The job turned out to be much more difficult and took longer. They lived up to their estimate and kept me as a customer very happy.

+ -1 moreIn business you have to keep your word and I set up more that 6 dates with my customers to do this work only to be let down every time by North Stamford Tree Services, Kevin and Billy Morano, I also could not get a certificate of Insurance from them, so take this for what it is worth and be very careful in hiring them, but don't be surprised if they show up late (if at all) claiming "my brother didn't put gas in the truck", "I forgot", "I promises", "the sun came up", "my big toe hurt".......and be sure to get a Certificate of Insurance as I don't think they have one? before they start
Description of Work: I am a chimney sweep and from time to time I need to reach very high chimneys for my customers and need a bucket truck and have hired North Stamford Tree Services in the past, but this time I am fed up, Kevin is constantly late for our appointments, loses the customer information I give him, does not bill for months, so after years of this, I dealt with the owner and his father Billy Morano and he assured me he would fix it and after waiting 6 weeks (I know hurricane Irene backed them up) Billy made an appointment with me for 9/21/11 to do work at 3 homes, no one showed, I called Billy and he told me he forgot, ok so I say can you make it tomorrow 9/22/11, he said "I promises I will be there, on 9/22/11, 9am" at 9am I called and he said "didn't my son call you" I said "no" he said let me call you right back" I waited 30 minutes (he never called me back) and called Billy back, he said "didn't Kevin call you" I said "no", he said "ok let me go get the truck and I will be right there, after an hour I called him back and he said he went to the yard but forgot the keys for the truck and didn't know when he could do the job he promised me, I hung up and will never use them again.

+ -1 moreTHE COMPANY SHOWED UP ON SHORT NOTICE EARLY IN THE MORNING, AS WE EXPECTED THEM TO. THEY COMPANY WAS ALSO VERY POLITE AND WELL-HUMORED AT SUCH AN EARLY TIME.
Description of Work: THEY PRUNED TWO LARGE TREES THAT HAD GROWN LARGE AND BUSHY WITH LARGE FOLIAGE AND ONE SMALL ONE. ALL DEBRIS REMOVED.
