We needed a safe outdoor outlet to connect our pool filter. The job looked complicated. A line had to be run from the main panel, but it had to be done from the outside because of construction issues. I wanted it to be safe and look nice. The estimate I got before I found marc Electric was over $1000. When Marc asked for $400, I was somewhat skeptical, but it turned out perfect. Safe and clean. Marc run the line around the foundation of the home inside metal "pipes" (bear with me; I'm not a technical person) and installed the double GFCI outlet exactly where I requested it. The "pipes" are hardly noticeable, not an eye sore, and all connections are safe and secure. After that job, I hired Marc again to install a ceiling lamp and a new outlet in my kitchen. The job cost me $200, for two hours of work that sure didn't look like a walk in the park (my house is an electrical nightmare). I'm very happy with the results. There was no damage to the wall at all. I didn't even have to clean after him! While talking, I learned that he has over 20 years of experience and works in a Union, doing mostly industrial jobs during the week, but he does residential jobs on weekends. He's licensed in CT and I have nothing but good things to say about the job he's done for me (and what he charged me). We've owned our home for many years and met our share of electricians. We've been burnt a few times. Repairs that brought more trouble, electrician lying about what needed to be done, electrician telling us the job won't be expensive and then having to shed a fortune, electrician charging little the first time around and then a fortune the next time, etc. Marc has been constant in his estimates, in his work and in his prices. This time, I think we have a keeper.
