Excellent, best movers ever

WARNING!! Stay away from this company. While the move may seem to go smoothly, if you have damage or loss Rob will not address the problem. His folks left my boxes unattended in a very busy building and one of the boxes was stolen. Rob took weeks to finally agree that he would send me a check (Of course, he didn't send it) and instead tried to give me a used piece of equipment to replace my loss. By that time I had already replaced the unit and he refused to honor our agreement and send me a check. He's got an "F" Rating on the Better Business Bureau for not responding to customer complaints. Check out two complaints from just this past year where he refuses to respond on the BBB website. [*** Link removed ***]

I can't give Rob a strong enough recommendation. He is professional, courteous, thorough, and punctual. He and his team were very careful with our items. We sustained no damage. His pricing is completely transparent and very reasonable. I've now used him twice and will use him again if I have need. I recommend him unreservedly.

Excellent--three men showed up a few minutes early and started immediately. They took no breaks, worked efficiently and were diligent. Once the truck was filled, they followed me to my new location, a 15 minute drive away. They unloaded, were very careful and it was a very smooth move. There is nothing I can say that is negative. They made it painless. I would highly recommend them. Another friend used this com a year or so ago and had given me their name and the same comments.

These guys are the best movers I have used in my 25+ years here in CT. This is the third time I've used them over the past two years. Rob and his brother Edwin are very professional, courteous, Very reasonable rates, and very careful with everything they touch. They have also had some great times-saving ideas during the job. For this most recent job, we moved a lot of things around the house, and also put a number of things in the garage to store short term. Each piece to be put in the garage was carefully wrapped in plastic and stacked very efficiently. No marks on any walls or floors, and there were some very heavy pieces including an upright piano. I recommended them to my sister, she loved them and has used them again on at least one other occasion. I would highly recommend Rob's company, and have offered to be a reference for them if needed. We had to move for a major house renovation and Man and a truck moved us both ways. Edwin led the team both times. They were courteous, careful and worked so hard to get everything moved, and it wasn't easy. They cleaned the debris from the move as well. They were so careful with everything they moved, watching every curve and corner. Heavy pieces were no problem, they figured out how to store everything originally and then move it back when the time came. This was a big undertaking and we would never had been able to manage without them. The guys worked tirelessly with such a pleasant attitude and we would gladly use them sgain!

Terrible. Lousy movers and untrustworthy people. Careless, unexperienced, unprofessional, renegs on commitments, shirks responsibility for damage caused by Man And A Truck. When I hired Robert Delgado he presented himself as a very trustworthy man and an experienced mover. He told me his was a family owned business and that his reputation meant everything to him. He quoted me $120/hour for two men with a 2-hour minimum. Sadly, Rob didn't show up and instead he sent one of his brothers and two other guys. No one said anything to me about a higher price per hour for 3-men versus the quoted price of $120/hour for two men. Even more unfortunate, the three guys disassembled the biggest piece of furniture and then had great difficulty reassembling the very same piece 1 hour later in it's new location. Ultimately, Man And A Truck caused significant damage to a piece of furniture. When Rob himself came to inspect the crushed corner of the piece, he apologized profusely, said he would pay for the repair and that we should chose any furniture Refinisher we wanted to handle the repair work. Rob even told us that the piece should never have been disassembled and that there was a better way to have moved it (wish he had actually been on the job). He then asked for payment and charged us $150/hour because he said he provided 3 guys instead of two. We were surprised with the upcharge after the move was complete since no one said a thing at the start or during the job about a change in the hourly rate. Furthermore, after submitting estimates as requested to transport the damaged piece to a Refinisher to repair the crushed corner of a piece of furniture and return the furniture to our home, we have gotten no response to numerous phone calls and emails. To add insult to injury, Rob's insurance company phoned us to ask a bunch of questions and inform us that Rob has now changed his story and has told his insurance company that he isn't responsible for the damage. We've repeatedly tried to contact Rob, but no response. No reimbursement, despite his profuse apologies and face-to-face promises to pay for all costs to repair the damaged piece of furniture. We are now stuck with a $900 bill to fix the damage created by Man And A Truck that Rob promised he would pay for. Between the surprise increase in the hourly rate without any notice, the damage to a piece of furniture and the lack of resolution despite verbal promises, we would never use Man And A Truck again. They are unprofessional and unscrupulous.

It went beautifully. moving is inherently stressful but they minimized that as much as they could. They were so flexible and accomatinng. They really took pride in there work
