We used Karl Nelson LLC for several projects and kept asking him back. The quality and value is unmatched compared to any other contractor we have encountered. The first project was some carpentry - adding an authentic Victorian railing to our front porch. After this, we invited him back to build a 2-story 800 sq ft addition to our home. He used excellent materials, completed it on time, was able to compensate on the fly for some errors in our architect's plan and the pride in his work was evident. Additional projects included a kitchen remodel - refacing cabinets, upgrading drawers, replacing counter-tops. Again, excellent value and a beautiful result. Our last project was finishing a basement and adding a laundry room. No matter whether the project is large or small, Karl approaches it with fresh ideas, solid techniques, a skilled team and a positive can-do attitude. We absolutely recommend him!

Everything went well. There was a problem with the water pump in the basement but it was promptly addressed and a new water pump was installed at no additional charge.

The project could not have gone any better. Karl helped spec out the requirements and pointed us to good value suppliers. We also found some great items on-line like a farmhouse stainless steel sink which cost 25% of what it does at our local showroom. He treated our money like it was his own and helped us avoid the expensive pitfalls that are rife in the kitchen re-do world. Once we had all the new bits ordered, he set to work, removing the old cabinet doors and counters. The project was done within two weeks and ready for painting. We now have a fantastic, updated kitchen with inlaid walnut skaker style cabinet doors, one black granite counter and one cherry butcher block surface. He and his highly skilled carpenters did all of the installation work and he was on-site everyday making sure everything was perfect. Karl and his team work to the highest standard and deliver excellent quality and value.
