They contacted us and asked us to send the pictures of the room they had to paint, which we did. We wanted them to paint the ceiling of our kitchen and the upper walls. We also sent the measurements, all of which were within the measurements of the deal. He wrote back agreeing on a date for the work. Two days before the work was scheduled, I received an email asking for my phone number but I never heard from him until the day the work was scheduled, when I got another email confirming the guy would show up at 8 am. The man showed up on time and brought his stuff in very slowly. He covered all the counters as well. He then told me he didn?t have enough stuff to cover all the cabinets and would need to go out and buy more. He assured me he wouldn?t add it to my time but he was gone an hour. He came back and continued covering cabinets very slowly. I supplied the primer and other paint. He told me he was never informed the work included a high ceiling and he did not bring the right scaffolding, so he left again. I don?t blame him for it but according to him, his boss never showed him anything about the job. The primer looks great but he never got the good coat of paint on because he ran out of time. Now I have to hire someone else to put the good paint on. The guy was very, very nice but the company was not so great.

They sent an employee who worked very hard. I had to pay him overtime to finish. Everything was done very well. I would use them in the future. They were very skilled and knew what to do. He knew how to put everything together and he was very polite.

They did a very good job. Arrived promptly & did what they promised

Service was punctual and reasonably priced. Response to inquiry was quick, scheduling and arrival was prompt thereafter. Estimate was in the ballpark for how many hours the job would take. However, the job was actually completed in less than the amount of hours estimated and therefore gladly under budget. Craftsmanship was perfect.

The job went very well. The quality of the workmanship was excellent. Both Noel and Marco are very competent and detail-oriented. They always cleaned up thoroughly and left my house in fine shape through the finish of the job. There were no surprises and everything was taken care of. I would have them back for other projects without hesitation.

He had to dig out a trunk of a tree to get the wall back in the appropriate place. He had to work over the allotted time but he gave me a quote for the additional work and I'm thrilled with the result.

Noel was very professional and timely with the quote. The quote included all of the details of the job and a start and end date. The job started and ended on time. Marco completed the majority of the work. He was very professional and the quality of the work was outstanding. Each evening Marco cleaned up the area he had worked in, including using a metal detector to ensure all nails, etc. were picked up. We were responsible to provide the bulkhead door and the door ended up being delayed, Noel accommodated the revised schedule.

I purchased the deal and the appointment was made after the owner left me a message on Angie's List. He asked when he could come out to the house but he was not clear that the work would be started on that date. I thought it would've been an appointment for the estimate but they were here to start the work, which I didn't like because he had no idea of the measurements and services that I needed. At this point, I just decided that I would not like to proceed with this provider and since there was no work done yet, I thought it would be a good time to cancel without harm on either side.

He was not careful and took forever.

He was very responsive. Showed up on time and did great work. Looks good as new. I would not say he is cheap but the work was excellent. - Excellent. Very happy with the quality, saved me from having to buy new windows.

Work was done very efficiently and tidily. Provider and assistant were very helpful and polite. We will use this provider again in future.

It ended up being quite a bit more expensive than I anticipated. I also had them do some repair work on the walls. The quality looks very nice though! The two people that came out were very professional, and I’d give them a B+ in professionalism. There were some discrepancies in their timeline for accomplishing the project. But again, the quality was great and I would use them again.

Noel is knowledgeable, careful, exacting, neat, reliable, and personable. His assistant, Macario, shares those qualities. When Noel patched my ceilings after I had recessed lighting installed, they were so smooth that they hardly needed painting. Noel saved me time and money by repairing my dryer and dehumidifier. He also caught and repaired a small leak in my basement before it became a problem. The subcontractor he hired to repair the grout in my bathroom did an excellent job. My only issue with Jarrett's Home Improvement is Noel's pricing structure. The "Saver's Program" of 8 hours for $380 is an incredible deal, but also very frustrating if you aren't able to use the 8 hours by the end of the calendar year. Bigger projects end up costing more per hour ($65) instead of less if you have already used up the 8 hours and because his coupons provide smaller discounts the more one spends. One really has to plan ahead to use up the hours but also not to waste them on larger projects.

Noel was very responsive prior to performing the actual work. He and his crew showed up on time and were very professional. While the work I had took longer than 3 hours and I incurred extra labor charges, their hourly rates were very reasonable ($60/hr) and even though he could have charged me for materials, Noel said that since he did not have to go an buy the materials, there was no charge. I thought this was very honest of him. The work completed seem very well done but I guess time will tell as to how the repaired areas hold up.

I put the wrong dates for him to come out to do the work. I called and he told me that he wasn’t going to come out do do an estimate for the work that he was only going to come out to do the work on the day it is scheduled. I would not recommend him to others and I have decided to get a refund.

Fine print had different rates and follow up had additional charges.

I signed up for 3 hours of wood restoration but knew I need a fair amount more. I mentioned this in the comments section when I accepted the deal. The deal description says add'l work at $60/hour. Jarrett's responded that a quote for additional services would cost $120 to get. Not exactly the way a business should approach a new customer who indicates they will need more of their services. I consider it such a customer unfriendly stance that I no longer wish to do business with this firm. I have given him an A rating as no services were performed and it would be very unfair to downgrade his rating based on communication issues.
