The Fence Factory is a family owned and operated fencing company that has been in business since 1976. We manufacture and install all types of fencing. We specialize in quality cedar, aluminum, wrought iron, ornamental steel, and P.V.C. fence products. We have one of the largest indoor and outdoor fencing display areas. Description of Work: The work was completed satisfactorily - we have a sturdy, nice-looking fence. But the work took longer than estimated (six days rather than four) primarily because the crew worked in slow motion when they were unsupervised - which was all but one day of the project. Part of the fence was installed too far from the property line, and the wire mesh was attached before we had made a final decision about on which side of the fence to install it. I would recommend them again only if, as a homeowner, you agree to supervise every moment of the work and ensure that you have all decisions in writing BEFORE the project begins. Verbal agreements did not hold up for us.

Very happy with Fence Factory. Had used another company to add on to existing fence (Euro Fence and they did bad job on repairs) Phil the owner of Fence Factory came out for a quote next day got another comparable quote but went with Fence Factory and was very happy. They arrived on time did quality and sturdy repair work. Went above and beyond and even painted posts that was not on the estimate. Would definitely reccommend them.

He did not show up as promised on 3/16. Called again 3/19 and receptionist said he'd call me. Today is 3/23 and I have not received any call- NOR DO I WANT TO EVER HEAR FROM THIS JERK!

Response from Fence Factory Inc.
On March 13 -14 Connecticut was hit with a storm that knocked out power to tens of thousands of people. Over the following week were were trying to run our business without power. Thousand of fences were blown down. To say that we were overwhelmed is an understatement. We regret that we did respond but anybody who remembers that storm should remember the chaos that followed.

OVERALL THEY WERE EXCELLENT. THE SALESMAN WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND WAS ABLE TO HELP ME DECIDE WHICH FENCE TO GET. THEY DID GOOD WORK ONCE THEY STARTED AND THE FENCE IS NICE AND LEVEL. THEIR PRICES WERE COMPETITIVE.
