Description of Work: Called manufacturer to find someone to service a newly installed appliance that wasn't working. They told me to call Bill's Refrigeration.

+ 0 moreOn the recommendation of a friend, I called Bill's Air Conditioning and Refrigeration in spite of the C rating on Angie's List. I called on a Monday and because it was raining I was told they would try to come on Tuesday. I spoke to the dispatcher, Rick, first thing on Tuesday and Ralph was out within the hour. He was pleasant and professional. In spite of my many questions, he was confident in his diagnosis which was that the unit needed freeon and that the exhaust tube needed to be blown out. He went about his work quickly and the AC came on. I questioned the bill as there is a service call charge ($19.99) as well as a labor charge ($105.75). After talking to Rick in the office, I decided that I would pay the bill as it was presented to me. I was still not clear why the two charges were necessary, but was pleased with the service otherwise.
Description of Work: My central air conditioning was inoperative when I turned it on for the first time of the season.

+ -1 moreThey did a pretty good job for me. They were very knowledgeable about the particular unit which was very complicated and knew exactly how to take care of the problem. They were very responsive and contacted the manufacturer for me to get the information about the warranty. They fixed the problem and it is working fine now.
Description of Work: They repaired a wine guardian cooling unit for a wine cellar.
