The work always turns out excellent. They come, they do the work, and they leave and everything is cleaned. I have used this company for a number a years.

It was an overall good experience. They started, then we got bad weather so they had to stop. Then when the weather got better I called them and they came right out. They were timely, respectful, and it was a very nice experience. It was a pleasure.

We had 2 tree branches fall from a tree in our yard, we call in Almstead to see what had to be done. Bob came out in a timely manner, provided us with a clear and professional estimate. He explained to us that the tree was dead and needed to be removed. He also gave us line item options (remove tree, grind stump, clean up etc) We gave him the go ahead and he and his team scheduled a time to do the work. They were prompt, communicative, and a pleasure to deal with. We even called him while he was on the job to ask if he could trim the neighbors tree- which he did at a fair price. (our tree ruined the neighbors fence, and this trimming their tree was our repayment)

We called the Almstead Tree and Shrub Care and requested a quote. The Branch Manager (Bob Bociek) came did a walk through my yard while I told him what I thought needed to be done. Along the way he gave me some suggestions of other things that could be done. He then wrote up an itemized estimate of the work to be done with the pricing. When he was finished, I told him that I was not in any real rush to have the work done. Based upon other tree work that I have had done I was satisfied with his estimate, So I signed the estimate and mailed it 2 days later. About a month later Bob called me and told me he could do the work the next day between 9:30 and 10:00. I told him that was fine with me. He showed up with his crew of 3 men right on time. The immediately went to work and by about 2:30 they had done all the work and even removed the dead wood and debris. We were please with the efficiency and whole process that was involved.

When work was not as thorough as I'd expected, they came back next day to fix. Very good.

Were quick to come out and give a quote. Did work within a week. No complaints at all. They were timely and cleaned up everything before leaving. Would definitely use them next time I need any tree work done.

Sales rep. walked property with me and discussed alternatives and provided suggestions. Followed up with a written proposal and when accepted, scheduled the work. Sales rep. returned with tree crew to explain work to be performed to them. Work was not completed on the first day due to rain but crew returned and completed remaining work to my satisfaction.

They were scheduled to come one day but it rained. They called by 8:30 to say they couldn't work in the rain and would be there the next day. Showed up promptly at 8:30 with the guy that gave me the original estimate so he could explain what needed to be done. Completed the work perfectly, were friendly and informative. I highly recommend them. I plan to use them next month to do some "compaction relief" for two tree that are having trouble. They were significatly lower in price then the other tree company.

A contract was signed to do the work within a specific time period. They did not show up during that time frame and had to be called again before the crew was finally sent. When they arrived the crew worked feverishly to finish the job within a day, but was not able to do so. They said they would return the next day to complete the job, but did not and another phone call was required. While waiting for the crew to return, I received a dunning letter saying that I had not submitted payment. When I called to say the work was not completed there was another wait. After the work was completed and the bill paid, I received statements saying the bill was still outstanding with a written note asking if there was a problem. When I called the office and pointed out that the payment had been paid and had appeared on our credit statement, they acknowledged that, yes, it had been paid promptly.

Bob was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. Work performed well and promptly completed.
