Description of Work: Major addition, including new kitchen and two new bathrooms, is underway now on our new house. 13 years ago, Additions by Anderson did a gut renovation and addition to our old house. And in the intervening years they completely renovated my mom's apartment and water-proofed and refinished our basement. We have been very satisfied every time.

+ -1 moreThis company is wonderful. I have used them four times in 12 years and each experience was great. In 2002 they gutted and essentially rebuilt my house. They came in on budget and on time. The house has been a wonderful worry-free home for us since. I must admit that we were very naive when we launched into this project on a 100+ year old crumbling house. We were lucky that Gary was very honest and gave us really sound advice. Our architect and Gary got along well too. 2 years ago they renovated my mother's apartment and again, they did a great job, on time and on budget. The building super told us they were very responsible about following the building's rules. 3 years ago they replaced our wooden front stairs with an impressive stone stair case. Looks great. Gary is highly competent and very honest. He knows about the latest technologies and codes. He runs a very tight team of subcontractors, laborers and carpenters. In return, he expects the homeowner to know what they want and make timely decisions. They do not do "museum quality" work, but they do very high quality, professional work. I couldn't recommend them more highly. When we downsize to a smaller home in a few years, I will once again call Gary.
Description of Work: Turned our basement from a dirt floor cellar into a wonderful family room, plus full bath, and large clean storage area. Also installed a French drain to keep the basement dry. We didn't have a leak even during Irene and Sandy!
