chimney caps, chimney repair

Description of Work: Charlie was great. I called, he showed up two hours later and did the job! An unusual job? You bet. I had a woodpecker problem, the first in my life or his. Seems the local birdbrain decided that the metal cap on top of my chimney sounded louder than the usual tree and would attract a mate better. His jackhammering sounded like a pneumatic hammer coming down the chimney and blasting out the fireplace. What a racket! Charlie took the round sisal doormat I bought, along with some liquid nails and cemented it on top of the chimney cap. I sure hope all will be quiet from now on. Thanks, Charlie. Bye-bye, birdbrain!

handyman service
+ -1 moreWonderful, great. Honest, reliable, thorough and clean. He put paper boots over his shoes so he didn't track dirt! I wish the plumbers would do that. When I asked him about repairing a doorbell, he told me the part I need and told me I could try it myself. If I didn't have luck, he'd come back. Also, told me he was not licensed to switch an electrical fixture. I like that he didn't just try to take the money and run. Definitely will call him again.
Description of Work: He came to my house to install a Life Alert system. Before he entered my home, he slipped paper booties on his feet so as not to track dirt into my home! He won me over on this alone. He was very knowledgeable about the product, the installation and concerned that it met our needs. While talking with him, I found out he did dump runs in our neighborhood. The same day he was able to fill his truck with numerous old items including a freezer and take it to the dump. I would definitely call him again.
