I was very comfortable with the contractor because he was able to explain and recommend the best practical way to meet my requirements for my project. He has done what he said he was going to do and he has maintained the project schedule that we agreed to. Clean-up during the project was always done at the end of each day and safety was a priority which is important. Thus far everything is coming out as planned and we are excited to see our new addition of the master bedroom with bathroom and walk-in closet on the first floor of our Cape Style home being built as we planned. Howard Contracting is doing a great job and would definitely recommend him for your next project.

Guy is a very talented professional contractor, I am so happy with our beautiful addition and very happy we hired him to build our addition! He is trustworthy, honest and takes a lot of pride in his work. He completed our project on time and within our budget. I would rehire him for future projects. He is also immaculate with cleaning up his work area at the end of the day, there wasn't a speck of anything left to clean. I really appreciated that.

His carpentry work inside was good but he walked away from a job he started. Outside work was not nearly the quality of the inside.

Guy was very professional, trustworthy and easy to work with. Best contractor we ever hired. He was flexible and offered suggestions. He was creative, adaptive and willing to complete additional work we requested once the project began. We converted an open foyer into a room, had a dormer built, house siding changed, maintenance free porch installed and custom woodworking built. Everything turned out absolutely beautiful. He has pride in his work and outstanding attention to detail. We would highly recommend Guy if you are planning on doing an addition or house renovation. We definitely plan on using him again for future projects.

Trust this contractor. He was so professional but had ideas that gave me more sunlight.

Finished on schedule, and on budget... Was willing to work around all our special requests, and offered several suggestions to LOWER the cost, rather than trying to "up sell". Honest, trustworthy...would gladly rehire

Guy was very professional and completed the work quickly. I had major water damage from a broken pipe this winter and needed ceiling repair and floor replacement. Work was done while I was out of town, when I returned the work was complete and the house was sparkling clean. I would highly recommend him.

Easy contractor to work with and he listens to your inputs. He worked to correct issues that were found, even issues his subcontractors created.

Guy was a pleasure to work with. From start to finish the job was done right. He has quality subs and takes pride in his work. Most importantly, at the end of the job when all that's left is the finishing details that some contractors neglect he takes his time and makes sure it is done right. I would highly recommend Guy if you are planning on doing an addition.

Very happy with the look and the construction of our addition and reconstruction of our home. We would hire him again if we needed anything else done.

Guy tries to provide workable solutions to fir your budget and needs

A very diligent and nice man but my house was a complicated job. I was to have a load bearing wall removed. All of the load came down upon two posts but he was not aware of how complicated the circa 1820 design was. He wanted to continue the job but was terminated. A company specializing in historical homes was brought in to finish the job. Also, too much of the ceiling along the wall was cut out and now needs to be redone, along with the kitchen base cabinets which need repair due to their manhandling when removed.

He did all the work very thoroughly and did small extras with no problem.
