They lie temps are to high. We had a working three ton . This company replaced with a two ton and it is not keeping up. They promised to replace with the same ton they took out then change there story. It would be a lose for the company. And that’s why I Must admit the owner is going above and beyond to fix but still no change this is the temp after owner cam coming out of vent. 61-69 says it should be 52 not anywhere close to that. They need to train there sales associates better. Now they ignor are calls

My 40 year old boiler began leaking carbon monoxide and the gas company gave me 8 days to get it replaced or they would shut off my heat. Out of three companies I contacted, Ductworks not only had the best pricing but was the only one that didn't try to get me to "upgrade" to a heating system I didn't need. They got the job done on time and even came back when the gas company wanted some additional adjustments. And the new boiler works great.

Ductworks was outstanding. They accommodated the changing schedule by EverSource and kept us up to date on the time frame. They were professional, their work is outstanding and they shepherded us through the financing and guided our choices. They responded to many calls and were prompt and reliable with their appointments. We highly recommend them. We will use them for all future work.

The technician diagnosed the problem as a bad capacitor. Quoted $250.00 as the charge to replace the capacitor. I got online and checked the average cost of replacement of capacitor. Offered to pay $120. Technician declined my offer. I ordered my capacitor online and replaced it myself for $20.

Ductworks responded to this call in a timely manner giving the customer a time of arrival. Our technician followed Ductworks protocol giving the customer a diagnosis and upfront pricing ($226 to replace capacitor). We use upfront, flat rate pricing and at this time our customers can decide to go forward or decline the repair. This particular gentleman decided to decline our services stating he was an electrical engineer and could replace the part himself. Our technician thanked him and left the site.

Purchased a big deal from them for $49. They did some other stuff, it was $49 for the house coil. They were very professional. They worked. We haven't had a any problems since. It was competitively priced. All very positive, they were straightforward, honest, all that kind of stuff, they were on time. The work turned out very well.

I'm not entirely thrilled with it, but I guess it was moderately adequate. Mostly anybody could have done the same amount for me just as well. They wound up not accurately regulating the distribution of the cold air into the various rooms. It's possible that the size unit they put in or provided was a little on the light side and could have gone a little bit farther, but they didn't do any calculations by room volume. It should work. It kind of works, but not perfect. You probably get offered more for more money, but altogether it would've been about the same price no matter who did the job. They were right on time 100%. What they did, they did well. I would look for somebody else.

We appreciate your feedback, Ductworks is always striving to improve our services. This estimate was a replacement of the existing air conditioning system therefore the ductwork was not restructured. If the customer feels the airflow is not balanced, please call the office and we can set up an appointment to come out and look at the issue.

Ductworks is a first-class operation. One of the two owners, who are brothers, arrived on time to give me an estimate. A few days later, I received three estimates: good, better & best. Subsequently his daughter worked with me via email to add a fourth (better than best) estimate with a two-stage furnace and a variable-speed high-efficiency air conditioner. The two installers arrived at 8:30 AM on the appointed day and got right to work. They worked steadily until they were done around 2:30 PM. They did a neat installation and cleaned up afterward. Then they spent about half an hour teaching me how to use my new high-tech thermostat. That was almost five months ago, and there have been no problems so far. I am a worrier, but Ductworks did the job flawlessly, including the paperwork required by my town (building permit), my condo association (certificate of insurance) and the power company (for a $250 energy efficiency rebate).

Due to the large size of the Carrier furnace, 120k BTU, the diameter of the installed vent pipe needed to be expanded from 4" to 6" and a condensation drip from a new copper lineset was fixed with added insulation. The modifications were handled within a couple of days and the overall install went very smooth.

The cost for a furnace cleaning is more that a one year service contract that includes the cleaning. The one year service contract was $279. The don't sell oil, so you don't have to lock into higher oil prices. Just what I was looking for.

The technician arrived on time and was very professional. He explained what he would be doing and how he was going to proceed. It took him about two hours and when he left the house smelled great and the air conditioner seemed more efficient. We were pleased with the experience and plan to be better about having the vents vacuumed more often. We would not hesitate to have this company back again.

Ductworks installed our new air conditioner. They were excellent and I would highly recommend them to anyone. They were such a great team and got the job done quickly and professionally. Ductworks were truly amazing on how each member of the team had there own job to do and I can express how wonderful they were. After completion the owner (Kurt) came by and inspected the job. I can't say enough how good they were. Use them, and you will be truly satisfied. Thanks Ductworks!!!!

We realized the pilot light on our gas furnace had gone out late at night on Tuesday Feb 23, it was 54 degrees in the house. We had re-lit the pilot ourselves once in the past, but it refused to work this time. Did a quick Angie's List search and comparison, and decided I would call Ductworks first thing in the morning. I set my alarm to get up at 7:00 am for my first day off in two months so I could try to get an appointment. Called at 7:30, and got an appointment for 11:00-ish the same day! Receptionist was efficient and personable. I mentioned that I saw there was an Angie's List coupon for a diagnostic call for $49.00 (a $30 savings off their regular price, and much less than another company's coupon). She said they would easily honor the coupon with out me printing anything out or "pre-purchasing" the coupon. Technician Joe showed up by 11:30. Thankfully this was a fairly small and straightforward job, but as all homeowners know, even "small" jobs can cost a pretty penny! Joe was skilled, forthright, and friendly. He listened to us, answered questions, and then got right to work. He had the necessary part on his truck and made the repair quickly. I was very pleased by the final cost and efficiency of service. I am considering purchasing a regular maintainace plan for my furnace from Ductworks, because of the low cost, return on investment, and because it was not "sold" to me or pushed on me...I asked about it first. I am an experienced DIY-er who has done many of my own plumbing and carpentry repairs (but leave most gas and electric issues to the pros). I will be comfortable calling Ductwork for any HVAC issues in the future. Thanks for great service, Ductworks!

Tyson did a great job for us! He arrived on time (in a snow storm) and was very thorough and efficient.. Noticed a few issues with our existing system and made a few extra repairs for us. He also made an excellent recommendation for a new filtering system that would provide us with a better result as well as less maintenance. Jeff came on a second trip to install the new filtering system and also provided a new solution for us to an old problem created by a poor installation from another company. Overall we have been delighted with the professionalism, solutions, and results from this company and will definitely be using them for maintenance going forward.

At 4:30pm, our furnace went out. We called DuctWorks (our service provider for the last several years) and they came out right away. The guy they sent banged around in our basement without success until 11pm. At one point, he left to go get another part to replace one he broke. He ended up breaking that one as well. At 11pm, and the inside temperature down to 60 degrees, the guy said he couldn't do anything else and would have the company call us first thing in the morning. So we were left with no heat overnight. DuctWorks called at 7:30 the next morning to say that they couldn't possibly send anyone out until the afternoon because they had customers scheduled for the morning. What about the customers they left without heat the night before? They wouldn't budge, even when they were informed that I would be having surgery that day and needed to come home to a warm house. The house was now down to 52 degrees. They couldn't care less. We called our oil company (Viking Fuel Oil), who came immediately, quickly identified the problem -- which was not at all what the DuctWorks guy had said it was -- and had it fixed in about an hour. That DuctWorks sent a guy who didn't know what he was doing I can forgive. That they chose to put us at the back of the line after leaving us without heat overnight, I cannot. They will never get our business back.
Description of Work: Our furnace failed in the afternoon. We have been good customers of DuctWorks for years. We called and they came out within an hour. But they never fixed the problem, left us without heat overnight and the following day told us we'd have to wait in line behind all of that day's customers before they would come out again. We will never use them again.

Our technician received the no heat call at 4:05PM and went out to the customer's house immediately. This customer has been with Ductworks for 7 years. The technician diagnosed the issue and spent until 11PM trying to get heat to the home. Knowing that the supply houses were not open, he attempted to clean the part that needed to be replaced hoping that would resolve the issue. When that didn't work he returned to the shop to pick up a tool he thought might help. Unfortunately the issue still wasn't resolved and the technician said he would return the following day after getting the part from a supply house. At 7:30AM we communicated with the customer that we would get back out to his home in the afternoon. Regrettably we had 2 no heat calls prior to this customer's that also needed to be taken care of. Our technician that was out at this customers home is a good, licensed technician who has been to their house multiple times. If Ductworks did not care about the customer we would not have been there working until 11PM trying to get them heat at no cost to the customer. We are glad that the issue was resolved even if another company resolved it. The last thing that Ductworks would want to do is not take care of their customer. In these types of situations it is frustrating for the customer as well as the technician and hopefully the 6 hours the Ductworks technician spent at the customer's home helped the other company diagnose and fix the issue quickly and efficiently.

A/C wasn't working. We called for an appointment and they were able to get fit us in within a day or so. The service that was purchased was a $49 diagnostic fee not routine maintenance. This fee is for the technician to diagnose a particular problem the homeowner called about. When the technician arrives he will start the conversation by asking the homeowner what kind of difficulties he is experiencing. This issue was the living room area was not getting enough heat. He diagnosed that the zone valve was not opening and quoted a price to replace it and also suggested that he purge the boiler zones. All recommendations were written on an invoice with the prices and the process the technician took for the diagnosis and a copy of this was left with the homeowner. Ductworks provides a checklist for routine maintenance because maintenance is a repetitious process but when you are diagnosing a problem, every situation is different therefore a checklist would not be adequate. Thank you for the feedback.
