Marie's Movers

Can’t say enough fantastic things about Marie’s Movers! We needed help with a very stressful move to a smaller house which resulted in two loads and two stops (1 to the new house and 1 to a storage unit). Frank, Ian and Michael were so pleasant and made a stressful situation so much more enjoyable! They were professional, punctual and very efficient, moving quickly but also ensuring nothing was damaged in the process. We had two large refrigerators that were not easily fitting through any of the doors and their quick problem solving and positive attitudes were very impressive! Highly recommend working with Marie’s movers for your next move!

The gentleman that moved me were incredibly professional, clean and efficient. I have personal experience working for a moving company and I called them in a pinch because I thought I’d be able to do it myself. I was wrong! They showed up not knowing what stage we were at packing and we’re. Otho g short of impressive. I would highly recommend Marie’s to friends and family. Heck, I’d recommend them to a stranger if I over heard they were in need!

Baffled by the rave reviews. They either didn't want this job or have an estimator that is out of his mind. Apparently moving from a 980 sf apartment to a 1300 sf townhouse requires a 26ft truck PLUS 16ft truck, 6 movers and 3 hour load/2.5 unload time. This to the tune of a 3K estimate. Their estimator Andrew was told very CLEARLY we were handling boxes and small items independently, no packing services requested yet 85 boxes and $250 of supplies were included in the quote. The experience LITERALLY made me sick and reflects very poorly on the moving industry. The two other companies I ended up scrambling to engage both quoted at least 1K less. Thank goodness one was still available to get me moved on schedule. Shame on me for trusting in the online reviews so much that I didn't continue setting up estimates after setting one up with Marie's Movers. When I questioned the estimator about accuracy via the number he freely provided my boyfriend during the in home visit I was spoken to unprofessionally in a very rude manner, then hung up on after I said I'd be making my experience public. I couldn't believe it.

Wonderful experience! Marie's Movers moved a big, heavy elliptical machine up a flight of stairs for me. They did a great job for a very reasonable price. The office staff was helpful and easy to contact. The moving team was friendly and efficient. I've had some bad experiences with movers recently, but Marie's Movers has restored my faith. I highly recommend them!!
