Hutter's Landscaping

We wrote this contractor on September 4th requesting a bid on extensive landscaping work. Never heard back from them.

I've known the Hutter family for 26 years. They are honest, hard-working, good people. Mike & his son did everything i asked, without wasting any time (theirs or mine). The price was more than fair, they are very friendly & trustworthy. They needed no supervision, or checking, they just went right to work & got everything done to a fault. I recommend them without hesitation, they are the first (& only) people i would call when we need grounds work.

He first came with his son Michael to help clean up after the winter. This was not part of the estimate and included raking and mulching as well as cleaning out a small pond. He also reseeded areas of the lawn that had been attacked by grubs last year. They worked hard and did an excellent job. When his other son Jonathan returned from college, they started on the digging and preparation for approx. 100 feet of flower beds. This included removing the old trees and shrubs, digging down about 3 feet, lining the trench with septic fabric to prevent washout, and backfilling with topsoil and compost. They were dedicated and careful, always cleaning up after themselves. His advice about plants and layout was invaluable. My wife and I are very satisfied with the quality of work and will definitely hire him again when needed.

Michael and his sons, Mike and Jonathan, were called to assist in straightening up our property in preparation for a large family picnic. Michael was great in asking us exactly what we wanted done and providing an extremely reasonable and accurate quote. He and his sons worked almost non-stop to get the job done within the time frame that was given to us. The gardens looked fabulous and we received many complements on their work. Prior to this Michael and Jonathan had designed, dug, planted and created custom edging for the gardens. Michael is very willing to work with his clients to come up with a landscape design that fits their vision and budget. We highly recommend Michael and his sons to anyone that asks for a landscaper.
