This was the first time we used this vendor. We found him from Angie's list. Joe responded very quickly to my voicemail message and was very professional. He told me that he had some availability in the next couple of days. I made the appointment and my better half was home for the work to be performed. Joe could not have been more pleasant to deal with, he installed the dishwasher perfectly. ( the previous one was not installed correctly and wobbled when in use). He was extremely helpful with disposing of the old appliance, we had a unique requirement by the manufacturer that due to a recall it was our responsibility to destroy the old appliance. Joe made sure it could not be used again and hauled it away for us. He was very careful while performing the work and made sure he cleaned up EVERYTHING. Thanks Angie's list we have found our new plumber for sure..

Punctual, showed up at appointed time. Friendly and polite, put on booties to protect floors upon arrival. Billed as estimated, no hidden charges. Would definitely use John again and would recommend his plumbing services to others.

Joe was very responsive and listened to what we wanted with an open mind relative to a pump that he had not previously used for a basement installation. He was always professional, flexible and kept his commitments relative to time, budget and results. At no time did we feel he only wanted to do the installation according to his own preferences; he did his research and challenged us as needed to ensure the highest quality results. It should be noted that we met with NO LESS than four (4) plumbers before deciding to go with Butkus Plumbing and we feel confident that we got the job completed with quality and a fair price. Joe arrived at the scheduled time, took steps to protect the carpet, removed the existing water heater and installed the new one in a very professional manner.

Replaced a shower valve and associated piping. Replaced hot and cold water kitchen under-sink valves and pipes. I am very satisfied with their work and I will use them again.

Everything went well.I use Mike Butkus ( Naugatuck Plumbing) and Joe Butkus. If one is busy, they refer the other brother. They are both very nice.

This contractor has come to our home many times for jobs large and small. He always did what he said he would, when he said he would at the agreed upon amount. He is not the cheapest but simply the best

He did not even have the courtesy to return my phone call. Maybe he is great on big jobs, but apparently he is not interested in little ones. I found another plumber who took the time to call me back immediately, and actually solved my problem on the phone, while he would have legitimately been able to come and charge me the service charge.

Original toilets were about 30 yrs old and needed a long over-due upgrade.

Joe is absolutely reliable. Also, anyone he recommends can be counted on. I have no problem allowing him in my house when no one is home. His work is "top drawer" and he does the work and completes the job when he says he will. He hasn't billed us yet so I can't comment on the price for this current job, but he has done work for us in the past and his labor charges have been totally competitive while his materials costs are below what we can obtain the items for. Several years ago when we were out of the country a pipe in our house froze and broke and Joe not only made the plumbing repairs, he also managed the entire repair job (clean up of caved in ceilings, sheet rock repairs, etc.) and researched and found a matching faucet so we did not have to replace the complete set. All of this without us having to come back to the house to supervise the job!
