Rising Star Roofing

The roof Inspection was completed and we await final insurance claim outcome before fixing the roof. Rising Star will perform the repairs when claim is approved.

It was excellent! They were on time, professional and easy to work with. They provided a great job and great warranty.

The process was performed over two visits. Clean and inspect and then an estimate was sent for the work i wanted done. Second visit went very well and work was completed and clean up done very professionally.

In December of 2015 I hired Rising Star for a chimney and flashing repair. As of this date our roof still leaks and despite promises of fixing the problem no one from the company has come out to repair the leak. This seems to be a low priority with them since they constantly mention how busy they are after failing to show when scheduled. I have given up on them and will have to take other measures to repair our roof. Needless to say I cannot recommend Rising Star.

The work was done to my satisfaction on time and for the agreed upon price. Rising Star accommodated my timing request and performed the work quickly and efficiently. Looks great and our home is safer now.

With the exception of showing up unannounced, the work was done quickly and efficiently. We agreed that this job would be an add-on at the end of the day depending on weather, but I would have liked a call in advance saything that they were on the way.

They showed up on time. While they were cleaning the chimney they tarped around the area in my living room. After they were done they made sure everything was cleaned up. I could not find any dirt after they left. They even fixed my flu while they were in the chimney.

The tech came out 2 hours earlier than quoted after calling me and saying he was ahead of schedule and did I mind if he came earlier. All he needed was water and power and he was all set. Work was performed quickly and so far looks to be high quality.

They did a very good job! There were two gentlemen- one of which was Chris Soverns, who arrived when they said they would. They completed the job 20 minutes quicker than the estimated time allotted. He also noticed that my gutters were full of leaves, so he emptied them! I am pleased with the work and would recommend them!

Unlike a number of other local providers they were responsive by telephone and in person. They did not require a fee for the estimate and they were able to schedule us within about two weeks of the estimate and reschedule us when we requested it due to our schedules about a week later. They were polite, informative and cleaned up after completing the job in the time they estimated.

I emailed provider to ask if he replaces firebrick on coal boilers. He never replied back.

One brother came in to talk while the other went directly to the chimney to check things out. Explained and were thorough!

This is the second time we have used Rising Star for cleaning the chimney. The first time was on short notice as we were having a wood stove insert installed in the fireplace and needed to clean the chimney. Chris and his brother Nick operate the business.. A phone call to set up the appointment in two days was no problem. Chris understood and cheerfully scheduled the appointment for a cleaning. Nick was the chimney sweeper to visit us. He was thorough, clean, and professional. He even cleaned out the basement reservoir of ashes the previous house owner had dumped down the fireplace "trapdoor" It amounted to a small garbage can full of ashes. The most recent visit was after the fireplace wood stove insert had been used for a year. Again, Nick came out and was thorough, clean, professional and answered questions on the wood stove maintenance and cleaning. He was quite knowledgeable not only on the wood stove and chimney liner but also answered questions on our desire to raise the wood stove higher in the chimney for a better view. He advised us on the cost of various options such as rebuilding the chimney, raising and supporting the wood stove via mechanical means (bricks) and shortening or lengthening the liner. In all, he spent about two hours, though the actual cleaning was probably just 45 minutes. While up on the second story roof he cleared away some vines that were growing into the chimney cap. He not only cleaned the chimney liner but cleaned the interior of the stove and excessive ashes and did a thorough visual inspection, advising us that a cracked insulation wall was only cosmetic and did not effect the stoves operation. I truly felt that he cared about his work, was knowledgable, friendly and energetic, and cared about his customers as people. I wouldn't hesitate to call Rising Star again for any Stove or Chimney issues.

I really liked them and would hire them again if needed.
