Joe The Plumber is a family owned business located in South Windsor, CT that has been servicing the surrounding areas since 2007. Joey Perras has over 20 years of experience in the plumbing, heating and building trades. In 2007, after working for other companies for many years, Joe decided to venture out on his own and start his own company. He is now simply known in the community as "Joe The Plumber". The company never responded to my initial request for an estimate, so I have no idea how well they would have done the work if I hired them.
Description of Work: I contacted joe the Plumber to get a price estimate for an indirect water heater - left a voice mail message. The company never called me back - perhaps my town (East Granby) was too far away from the town from which they operate (South Windsor). Nevertheless, they did not have the common courtesy to call to say that I was outside of their service area if that was the reason why they decided not to contact me in response to my request for a quote.

The overall experience went extremely well, as a matter of fact it went excellent. Joe arrived exactly on time, cleaned up the area afterwards, and was the consummate professional. Other than the seeing the installation...you would never know he had been there. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of plumbing services.
Description of Work: Joe and his assistment dug out my filled in sump pit, resized the opening, and installed my Basement Watchdog Big Combo BW4000 Sump Pump System (Combination Primary and Backup Sump Pump System). They installed PVC pipe from the pump system up to the ceiling in the basement (unfinished) and then ran the piping to the outside of the house.

Joe did more than I expected, he responded promptly, listened and understood what I needed. He was courteous, professional and timely. I would use him again and recommend him highly to any who needs plumbing. He also gave me a lot of good advice and recommendations.

Joe gave us an estimate and allowed us to open the Sheetrock in the basement to save on the estimate. He was installing a gas line from basement to first level kitchen. He showed up on time ran the line for us and the actually installed the new stove to code with tip bar, not something we were expecting him to do. Cleaned up all his work after and finished on time. A pleasure to work with.
