Joe the Plumber

I was fortunate to have Gary, a very professional representation of his company. He went to the plumbing supply house to find the hose, however, he came back and said that he believes the hose is under warranty. We looked it up and called Delta. We found the hose was , and we ordered it.....a week later it came in and I had called and asked for Gary to come back. In the interim, Janet, the receptionist was a very friendly and helpful person during all of this. Gary came back, installed the hose, stopped the little leak by putting the faucet back on properly and all is well. The entire situation was handled very professionally, Gary did a great job and he was quite knowledgeable as well. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who has any plumbing situations, and needs them repaired quickly and efficiently. What I admire, is the honesty and professionalism.

The day Joe was scheduled to do the job, he told me he had to get a part and would return the next day. The next day the office called to tell me he was running late on his previous job but would be there within the hour. I appreciated the call....many companies don't call and you are left waiting, wondering when the contractor will show. Joe showed up within the hour and fixed the well pump, replacing the necessary parts. He knew exactly what was wrong and fixed it quickly. I would definitely use his service again and recommend him for plumbing needs. Very pleased with the job done...thanks, Joe.

Ed came over, on time, and looked at the leak we had. He suggested a quick fix that we could do ourselves, and then graciously didn't charge us! We also had him look at a future project we had in mind, and he gave us a ballpark estimate that seemed very reasonable. Overall, couldn't be happier with our service from Joe the Plumber!

The company I used in the past was unable to come out the same day the problem was discovered with my water heater. So, through Angie's List, I contacted Joe the Plumber. The woman on the phone was very polite and had Joe call me almost immediately. He had just finished a job nearby, so he came right over. He was very prompt and very courteous. He figured out the problem very quickly and ran to the store to get what he needed to fix the problem. When he returned, he fixed and tested the water heater in no time at all. I would highly recommend Joe the Plumber!

Punctual. Struggled to remove valve. Had to order part. Returned to finish 4 days later. Gary was the plumber who did this work.

The hot water was leaking so I wanted it replaced ASAP. I called Joe's office at 9:45a and spoke with Janet who originally was going to give me an appointment for 2 days later. I asked if it could be sooner since it was urgent and she squeezed me in. I was impressed by how accommodating she was. Joe arrived on time to look at the leak, and said it needed to be replaced immediately before my basement flooded. When I asked him when he could do the work, he responded, "within 2 hours". By 3:30p the new hot water was installed and working. The final price included the Angies' List discount, and I am told by others who have had their hot water heater replaced that it was a bit high. But Joe's responsiveness to my problem and the professionalism he and his employee showed were priceless.

Very nice job. The work crew was professional, courteous, prompt, and took the time to cover flooring that they needed to walk across.

So far, so good! The new sink doesn't appear to be dripping.

The outdoor faucet was not working properly. The plumber arrived early and changed out the pipe to a special one that wont freeze in the winter in case i forgot to shut the water off. The faucet works beautifully. Very passionate company.

Excellent. Joe answered the call immediately and came out quickly to look at the drainage problem I was having under the kitchen sink. He fixed the problem, and explained why it happened. I was impressed with his honest manner and professionalism . This man takes pride in his work. I decided to have the problem fixed for good, and while the repiping was being done I thought I might as well get the garbage disposal I had been wanting. The work was scheduled for a few days later and he provided me an estimate. His workman arrived on time, was polite and professional, put tarps down, cleaned up, and did beautiful work. I got a one year warranty on parts and labor, and a 10% discount because Joe loves Angie's List customers! I am very pleased to find a trustworthy, skilled, local business man. Everything was top notch from beginning to end.

This was my second experience using "Joe the Plumber' and both were great experiences in bad situations! My most recent experience was a burst water pipe in the basement that was a result of a faulty valve and sub zero temperatures. The damage was found at 7PM and after turning off the main water to my house and calling Joe (I left a message) he returned my call within 30 minutes. Since I could survive without water until morning, Joe explained he would be here the following day before 12 Noon and would call when he was on the way. He called the next morning at 8:30 AM and the repairs were made within an hour of him arriving. Not only was Joe on time, polite and responsive, he and his associate were professional and even cleaned up after themselves before they left. I will definitely call them again if I am in need of plumbing work.

Joe was very patient and responsive when I called him numerous times while I was trying to decide between using Lowes, another contractor, or Joe the Plumber. I am so glad that we went with Joe. He arrived on time. We ran into an unexpected glitch when they discovered that our electrical was not up to code. This would increase the total cost. Joe made sure that he had our permission to go ahead and contact an electrical contractor (Hammick Electrical - who was also excellent). Everyone in his crew walked us through the whole process. What impressed me the most about Joe was that when the price increased due to the unexpected electrical glitch, he discounted HIS services to help cushion the blow. Joe was pleasant, clean, and we can now say that 'we have a plumber, Joe the Plumber!' Thanks so much, Joe!

I called Joe the Plumber about coming out to reset our toilet. I had some other questions as well and they were very friendly and helpful on the phone. The plumber arrived on time and got right to work. He was friendly and answered all of my questions. He pulled the toilet and checked it for possible leaks. He called me in to show me that the toilet itself was fine. He then reset the toilet and tested it and made sure he left the area clean. I would recommend them to others as well as use them again.

Joe Showed up on time to look at work. Quickly got back to me with a Competitive price. Once we agreed on price he gave me a date for delivery of new water heater, which was delivered by plumbing supply house and stored in my garage overnight. Joe showed up next day as promised to do the installation without a hitch Good overall experience.

Joe and his assistant came on time. Did a thorough job and left the work areas clean. We were satisfied with their work.

He installed the best A.O Smith water heaters in our 55 and over community and charged us about $ 600.00 below all other quotes and the permit for doing it was checked by the town of Vernon and they said it was a very good job.

I have 2 houses and specified I wanted them both fixed. House 1 had 2 defective toilets. The owmer flew in and out and said he would not work in a home with cats. He left 2 young assistants, who worked on the toilets. One of them is now WORSE and calls for water about every half hour. It started to snow and they didn't want to go to the other house ( 1.3 miles away). They said they would call to make another appointment. They never did. I was extremely amgry and disappointed,

When making the appointment Joe was very courteous and professional. He asked me to call him back before the scheduled day if for some reason I could not keep the appointment. Likewise he would do the same. The day of the appointment I got a call that they were on the way. They arrived on time. I showed them where the issues were located and described what was going on. They made a quick trip to get needed parts and replaced the three valves. It had been cold and the outside faucet line had frozen and they thawed it out. They cleaned up the work areas and left them as clean as they were before they started. I was very pleased with their professionalism and courtesy. I would use their services again.

I had used Joe previously to remove a propane line and was happy with his service so when I had a leak under my kitchen sink, he was the plumber I called. I called him on a Wednesday and asked if he would be available for that Friday since I would be working at home that day. He was able to fit me in and showed up on time on Friday. He diagnosed the leak as being due to the age of the existing garbage disposal (10+ years). I was initially concerned because we were supposed to have people over the following day and I didnt know if we would be able to get the new one installed in time. However, he recommeneded a model (that I checked out online and was well reviewed) and he immediately went out and got one and installed it. Very friendly guy, great service, would definitly use him again.

I have used Joe in the past and he is a professional in every sense of the word. His helper was also and very polite during conversations. They were both very helpful in explainig what happens when pipes clang and why the expansion tank was needed. His quote was exactly what the price was. I was very pleased with the work and how quickly they did the job. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a quality plumber.

On Thursday, my washer would not complete the final spin. Water was left inside and the towels were dripping with water. Had this problem a couple of months ago and the washer repair guy showed me what happened. He tried to unclog the drain with a coat hanger and it worked okay till this Thursday. (He also told me my piping was wrong for the washer which would mean a big repair.) On Thursday I removed the hose and drained the washer. Then I called Joe. He was polite and asked all the right questions. He was at my home within the hour. He asked more questions as he was afraid it might be the septic but thank goodness it was not. The pipe just needed to be snaked. A lot of lint was clogged in it. (Also the piping is fine the way it is). He also told me with these new washers that are lint free, this sometimes happens. Joe and his partner were effiecient and very professional. I would reccommend them to everyone. If I need any more plumbing done again. he is the man!!!!

Sump pump replacement price was about half the cost of the last time we needed the pump replaced. Job was done very quickly and professionally. We were so happy with the price and quality of the service that we used Joe the Plumber to replace the shower valve, which was leaking. Again, great service at an excellent price. The company will be coming back out in a few weeks to replace all the fixtures in the main bathroom shower as well. It is always good to have a plumber's name handy. We will keep Joe the Plumber's number around for all our plumbing services. Very highly recommended!
