A Just Improvement LLC

In order to accommodate a new, higher refrigerator, I removed a small cabinet above that space in our kitchen. Behind the cabinet, however, we found a large wood backing board rather than sheet rock. We needed to repair this wall and also finish the molding on the cabinets next to the space. We saw A Just Improvement LLC, an A rated company on Angie?s List, and gave them a call. Within the day, Justin Pompa came to assess the job. Since there would be a few coats of plaster and then of paint, with a drying period between, it would be necessary for him to arrive, do part of the job, leave for a period and then return. He would be able to fit in some other work, but he thought he could do the job with a few hours spread over three days. We felt his estimate was reasonable, and he seemed like a good guy, so we proceeded. And we were very happy with the result. Justin is meticulous, and gives attention to more details than we could spot. In the end, the repair looks like the wall should have been originally?a perfect job. He worked quickly but carefully. He was able to rework his other jobs so that he could finish the job in three calendar days. Justin is a pro, very knowledgeable in his craft. He was able to listen to our problem, advise us on what we should do, and then achieve a great result for us. Although this was a small job for him, I am sure he gave it the same attention he gives to his big jobs. I recommend him.

Initial call was made over 3 weeks ago and no one has called me back to date (12/8/15)..

Everything went well. The contractor and his helper were helpful, polite and cleaned up after themselves?

He was knowledgeable, experienced, flexible, and dedicated to doing quality work. Very pleased with results.

Justin arrived as promised, promptly at 8:30, and got right to work. He did the initial removal of rotted materials then began with the repair. He suggested a little change to the current molding, which I agreed with. He returned the next day and finished the repair, then painted and put all of the fixtures back where they had been. The porch looks great, and he cleaned the work area so well that it looked as if no one had been working there. I am once again pleased with Justin's work.

Justin showed up right on time and knocked out the job for me quickly and professionally. He even took some extra time to help me get my driveway lights aimed. His prices were very reasonable. I will absolutely use him again.

They were very expensive. I got the work done for less than half of what they quoted me.

Justin & his company are the best, very easy to work with, he made great suggestions about what should be done. He was on time and finished exactly when he said he would. I am so pleased with his work I hope I can find something else for him to work on!

Jason was very professional and easy to work with. He was flexible and was very helpful throughout the whole project. He was responsive to emails and to any follow up questions. He was very neat and tidy when completing the project. He was able to complete our project and we love it. I would definitely use him again for other projects in the house.

Justin responded quickly to my initial call for a quote and kept within his stated time frame for performing the service. He arrived on time and did the job quickly, then went over everything he had done to complete the task. I requested a quote for more work - I was impressed by his work ethic.

They did a nice job on the floor in the basement. Got the job done fast and cleaned everything up before they left. We are very pleased with the work and will plan to use them again.

He came in and did a quote. I followed up with him on several questions. I wanted the work done while I had time off. By the time I received the quote it was too late. It took too long to get answers to additional question so we decided against it. He was very pleasant. His quote was a little higher then I expected but still decent.

On time, neat, professional and reasonable pricing. He is my go-to guy. He also did a complete kitchen cabinet Install at my daughters. Great job there too.

Justin and William were really nice and did a great job, the dog door looks great. They spent about an hour installing it and they also weather sealed it. I couldn't find the screws that came with the door at first, so Justin was going to install using screws he brought with him which was a life saver. They cleaned everything up before they left and were really nice to my dogs. They price I was quoted is what was ultimately charged.

The only difficulty was getting a price estimate from Jason - he is very busy. And he loves working on homes - but doesn't love the paperwork so much. There were some bumps in the wall, etc. - minor imperfections. All and all very happy with the work. Justin was professional and timely and did not go over budgt. I received price estimates from 2 other people. Justin was the most reasonably priced, and able to handle all of my requests.

I had a dozen "projects" started and life just got in the way. Justin came out and we went through the house. He noted all of the projects that needed completion and provided a very reasonable estimate. I was concerned that quality may be an issue due to the estimate, but that was obviously not the case. I have used Justin on two separate occasions and will not hesitate to call him again.

He was great to work with and I'll be hiring him again for help!

Fantastic job! Justin and Fritz showed up on time and did great work putting together and installing a new closet cabinet and above the fridge cabinet in my kitchen after removing the old one. Everything was cleaned up spotless and the displaced furniture put back. They even broke down all of the cardboard boxes and put them out back in my recycle bin. Justin was particular about making sure the install looked perfect and matched the rest of the kitchen. He repurposed materials from the old cabinet that I had neglected to purchase for the new ones and created a custom toe kick using some leftover cover panel so the cabinet could be at just the right height and have no gap at the bottom - definitely above and beyond. Justin was very communicative, scheduled the service quickly and let me know when he was on his way the day of our appointment. Very pleased with the work and the customer service. I have a list of work for Justin to do next. Highly recommend!

He was Great. Informative about options. Listened to my Thoughts and Ideas and was very willing to choose The best Item. I wanted nice looking Bars, Not Hospital looking ones. And when I ordered the wrong sizes, He had no problem coming back. I love that he's willing to come do the little Jobs in between his much large Jobs. Thank you

Couldn't have been better! We had replaced all our windows approximately 12 years ago, but seemed to forget the one in our utility room. It was at the point of falling out. Justin initially came to inspect the job and recommended a window replacement which we used. He ordered it and contacted us when it came in to arrange an installation date. He also replaced our leaky kitchen faucet with one we had purchased. They were efficient and clean. I would highly recommend!!

It went very well. I got several quotes and Justin's was the second-lowest but he was responsive, polite and professional. The lower bid was less responsive, and when I got a response it was brief and impolite. I'm glad I opted not to proceed with that contractor. Justin provided advance notice when he would be arriving and he was on time and did a great job. He asked for the installation instructions in advance and followed them exactly. The hoop is perfectly built. He performed the work at the quoted cost and without issue. All you can ask for and more.

He arrived exactly on time and worked very hard to get the job done in a timely manner. Even though, the job took somewhat longer than first thought, he charged me only the amount that he had first estimated. Cutting the tree branches was not something that I had originally asked him to do but he agreed to do the job even though I stated that I would not blame him if he said no. He charged $20 for that and $100 for the windows. He was polite and professional and did a very good job. I would certainly recommend Justin Pompa to anyone that needs work done.

This is the second time I've had Justin work on the house and once again he has surpassed my expectations. He was on time, did a great job, was professional and left the work area cleaner than when he started. If you need 'stuff' done get hold of Justin, you won't regret it. If there was an A+ rating I would give it to him.

Justin and his assitant, i'm sorry i forgot his name, Felix? All work was done as requested and they were very efficient and looked to keep their work space clean in the house. Justin is easy to work with and listens to what you want, doesn't tell you what you need. I would use him again for other tasks. Thank you

Efficient; absolutely great at cleaning up after work; polite; had referrals for other lines of work that needed to be done. I already have plans for future work of greater calipre that I intend to use the service of Justin Improvement Co. I highly recommend Jason.
