+ -1 moreI left a message on Holden Enterprises answering machine. Don returned my call the next day and left his cell phone number for me to contact him. When I called him, he came that day to see what needed to be done. He explained the options of repairing or replacing the garage door opener and quoted prices. He also described how he would fix the door so it wouldn't slam. I agreed to have him repair the opener and adjust the door. We scheduled the work for the following Monday. He arrived right on time and went right to work. When finished, he demonstrated how the door now worked. His bill was exactly the quoted price. It was a pleasure working with him. He's honest and did not try to sell me more than what I needed. He's also a very pleasant person.
Description of Work: The garage door opener stopped working. Lifting the door manually was unsafe, since it would not remain up but suddenly come down slamming with a great force.

+ -1 moreDon made adjustments to both doors. Left remote for him to enter the garage while I was at work. Very honest and dependable. Would use and recommend Holden Enterprises again.
Description of Work: Garage doors shook badly when closing. Needed alignment.

+ -1 moreGreat responsiveness; they came out on a holiday weekend. They didn't have the part but tried to fix it anyway, they then returned on a holiday to replace the board. The price was reasonable. They gave advice to prevent future board problems; to buy a surge protector. I would definitely use them again.
Description of Work: The door suddenly stopped opening due to lightening or power surge. It needed a new circuit board and a remote panel installed outside of the door.
