Paintworks Plus

Paintworks Plus served as our general contractor for my father’s new townhouse in New Fairfield. They spent the last six weeks meticulously working on a multitude of projects to remodel and make improvements to the condo, which needed a lot of help and we could not have even begun to know how to handle it without Joe and his crew. They helped us to prep and paint all the walls, trim, install molding, and doors. They helped us open up a wall in the kitchen, take out and install a new kitchen, and managed the work of plumbers, electrician, and carpenter services. Joe helped us with designing the kitchen as well. I cannot believe the transformation! The condo looks beautiful, clean, brand new and totally updated. We are so happy with the outcome and the professionalism of Paintworks Plus. Highly, highly recommend. Fair pricing, great communication, and Joe truly cares about the quality of the work and helping his clients figure out what they need and getting it done right. We hired Joe and team to paint the exterior of our house in Kent and I am so glad we did. They are professional, polite and organized. This is the second time that we've had Paintworks Plus work on our house. Last year we had them partially re-build and re-finish our deck, and just this past week we had them paint all of the rooms in our house (finished basement, two offices, dining room, kitchen, living room, two bedrooms, hallways, bathrooms, and ceilings). From start to finish on both projects, Joe was an incredibly professional and easy going person to work with. The quote for both jobs was EXACTLY where my wife and I thought they should be. The deck was finished on time, and he was actually able to finish painting our house early despite TWO snow events that hit our area during the project. We were kept up to date multiple times a day via text messages as to how the projects were coming along. Joe also gladly accommodated some changes that were brought up during the house painting, and he did so without changing the cost of the project. My wife and I are in awe at how good house looks. Joe is an expert at what he does and, just as importantly, he is truly passionate about his work. Both of these qualities clearly shine through in his finished projects. We would recommend Paintwork Plus to absolutely anyone looking for painter (and more) in the area.

Once we finally agreed on a day and time, a bit tricky on both ends, painter was prompt and efficient. He made some needed suggestions and did a terrific job on my hall. He also repaired and painted the ceiling. All nail holes (there were many!) were filled in and other minor repairs done too. Everything looked pristine when finished, no bumps or visible marks at all. Cleaned up very well and left no mess either overnight or when finished. He repaired some loose moulding with caulk that I was prepared to ignore. Joe was on time, friendly and extremely diligent. One caveat about the price; I bought a deal on Angies list knowing it would not entirely cover my job. Joe did such a great job on the first, prepaid day, that I hired him to finish the job without price comparisons. Therefore I cannot adequately judge his price, although I am certain it was more than fair.

Paintworks Plus used a "secret sauce" to completely rejuvenate my cabinets! Months later, they are still sparkling! They have also painted and wallpapered various rooms in my house. Paintworks Plus used their expert decorating skills to transform my playroom into a beautiful new space. The wallpaper was centuries old and bonded to the wall. Paintworks Plus removed it spotlessly and used a technique to make beautiful textured walls. I always call Paintworks Plus for painting and other interior and exterior needs. I highly recommend them!

Joe has a very reliable and well trained crew , our house has never looked this good. He used all the right materials and was responsive to little added requests.

These guys showed up when they said they were going to show, did their work on time and on budget. They were professional and very detail oriented. Another nice part about working with them is that Joe was happy to suggest colors and finishes. His extra touches made the reulsts perfect. Very high quality and reliable. Happy to report that it was a great experience..

As expected

After the hurricane I know the damage was more than I can handle. I never hire contractors I am a diy guy. over 20 years ago I worked for paintworks plus when in collage so I was familiar with Joe and his business practices. Trust is a big part when hiring a contractor. Not talking with Joe in almost 15 years I called Joe for his help. He came over to look at the job within 24 hours. There was no surprises told me that he had other jobs that needed to be finished before winter came and assured me that the main floor of my house would be done for my wife to host Thanksgiving dinner at our home. It was done with a week to spare. It was our choice to hold off on the second floor repairs until after the holidays. Joe again was back as planned to finish the Job. Good contractors are hard to find. The fact that I spent $17.00 just to post my report has to mean something. I was also upset to see that someone gave Joe a "F" for what being honest and not willing to lie on her behalf. I am proud to say that i worked for Joe and now he worked for Me. If I ever need to hire or recommend a painter Joe would be the only name I would give. Thank you Joe, John and Hogo for giving us our home back.

I paid $50 for an estimate. All the guy wrote on the receipt is "It's a fairly good job, but it looks like it was done quickly." There was no price, no date, no useful information. I got nothing from him and paid $50.
