He spoke to us by phone while we were out of town and was always willing to answer questions and discuss options. We never felt rushed or that our questions were unimportant. Sal went in search of the color switches and switch plates we wanted and found them. His business card says that he is a master electrician. He is all of that! We appreciate his attention to detail and the job turned out beautifully. We would recommend him to anyone wanting exceptional electrical work. And who doesn't want that? I know a good review should have something in it that could be improved, but there is nothing for us to report. Call Sal. You won't be sorry.
Description of Work: Sal did rough in and finished electrical work for our new decks and screened porch. He provided fixtures that are energy efficient and attractive. He mounted a ceiling fan, installed outlets and switches for the porch, outdoor sconces for the deck, as well as a double floodlight. He explained the operation of the different fixtures and switches clearly.

Description of Work: Sal found a problem with why my lights wouldn't work in my kitchen which no one else could find. He could have said he had to pull all my sheet rock down to find the problem but he didn't and found the simple solution. He's very honest and trustworthy. In additon he did an excellent job installing my oven. He is highly qualified and has a lot of integrity. He's the person to hire if you want someone trustworthy and qualified.

+ 1 moreThe electrician was here for a good art of the day. He was extremely careful professional and personable and communicated well. He worked hard, came up with great solutions and left everything really tidy. His prices were very fair and he was willing to do the work right away. I was impressed and will use him again and recommend him to others.
Description of Work: New wiring for cable TV cable connection. Also fixed many lighting and electricity problems (in home from 1900 recently purchased from an older couple) -- lots of troubleshooting. Estimate for work to get generator ready to use this winter.

I asked if he would call the power company and explain the problem. He did so without hesitation. He determined a way for me to power my refrigerator until the power company came. I was so pleased with his services that I asked for estimates on several other electrical projects. I would highly recommend this honest and friendly electrician.
Description of Work: Determined source of my electrical problems and explained the problem to the power company. He set up a power supply to my refrigerator so I would not lose the contents until the power company arrived.

+ 0 moreSal is a real professional. He knows and understands NY Code and, more importantly, he understands safety. He was very straight forward and honest, I felt strongly that I could trust him to do the work correctly and charge me fairly. I highly recommend him.
Description of Work: Sal installed a 30 amp twist-lock receptacle to hook up my external generator. He wired the receptacle into my electrical panel. He installed 2 extra circuit breakers.

+ -1 moreThe job was done perfectly. I feel that the price was very fair for 3 1/2 hours of work. Sal is polite, knowledgeable and very neat.
Description of Work: Sal put a remote in my ceiling fan and replaced 5 electric baseboards with new ones. He had to remove existing ones that were installed in the 70 's. He checked that each one was perfectly functioning.
