California Closets - Connecticut

Description of Work: We had California Closets come in to design and build us one wall-to-wall closet and redo an existing closet in our bedroom. Right from the beginning there were problems and we should have known to go elsewhere. We had the first designer over in early January and he miss quoted us by $3000?!?!? Which is a HUGE difference. He was going to take out his commission of $600 to make up for it but this was service was now out of our budget. I mean how to you miss quote something with that big of difference. Called the manager and she said that she would give us half the difference off which was $1500 and I requested a new designer. The next designer came and she was very professional and courteous and actually fixed many of the first designers mistakes, which we didn't pick up on until she pointed it out. Next they came to install the closets and they seemed to be rushing and not taking there time with all the small details, like we were told they would. Both our closets were done in four hours...Also, we were told that the truck carrying our drawers (12 total) was in an accident and all of them were damaged. We could not get new ones until later the following week. Next they installed the wrong color poles in our closet and that wasn't fixed until the following week, as well. Now we couldn't hang anything or put clothes in drawers and it was their mistake! Now we had to live in disarray for one week! Also, they cut the baseboard which we were told that they wouldn't...The knobs are crooked and will have to have someone come again to fix them. We were lead to believe they are perfectionist when it comes to building the closets. What we got was no where near that. We will definitely NEVER used this company again.
