AIR IT IS

Description of Work: Air It Is was engaged to install a full home generator in December of 2011. A deposit of $6000 was paid to the owner of Air It is James Hamel. Several months past while we waited for the generator to arrive and be installed. A small amount of prep work was performed consisting of pouring a concrete pad for the generator, installing a transfer switch, and prepping a gas line. As of August 1, 2012 and constant inquiry by me consisting of over 50 texts, 50 telephone calls, and a registered letter, no generator has been recieved. Numerous scheduled appointments were not kept and no communication was recieved as to why. In addition, the small amount of pre work performed (value under $1000) was all deemed to not meet code by the City building department. As of August 2, 2012 a new contractor was hired to redo all the prep work done and install the generator that I had to purchase directly as it was determined that Air It Is never even put a deposit on the generator I had paid $6000 towards. I feel 8 months was sufficient to try and work with this company. I therefore would not recommend Air It Is under ANY circumstances

Description of Work: The person who owns this company is not properly licensed and yet he does the work. We paid for high end equipment to be installed and he switched it out for lesser quality equipment.
