After the nor'easter it seemed as if the company had too much work and were sending less than optimal teams out into the field. They ultimately did the job to my satisfaction but only after having them come back a few times. Haven't had water since they got it right.

They did an excellent job putting in a sump pump in my basement which is normally not a very easy job to do. They did it very fast and I don t have any complaints about their service providers as they were very kind people and they knew what they were doing. Before they left, they cleaned the place and it looked like no one was even here.

Connecticut Basement Systems has a revolutionary system for waterproofing. They came on time and installed the system with efficiency. They were incredible. I was also impressed that when I pointed out a small charge for something that they didn't actually do they cheerfully refunded the money and apologized for their mistake. They were professional, courteous, and neat.

The new system they installed is wonderful. We didn't have a single drop of water even during the big North Eastern this spring. The only problem we had was the accidentally cut through the cable line during the installation of the dry well. They deducted the cost of the repair for this off the bill and were wonderful about it. They are honest and stand behind their work.

The whole job was accomplished by a very competent crew who did the dirty noisy work in good time. They were very respectful of our needs and helped in any way they could. They were friendly, did their job and left us feeling we had made a good choice; thanks to Angie's List.

Estimator, Chad Achenbach, was great and always available to answer questions even after system was installed. Appointment was confirmed and Chad was right on time. Provided detailed explanation of product and diagnosis of problem. He proposed a solution, informed me of additional options and left me with a firm price proposal for all work and options. Work was scheduled to my specifics and performed flawlessly. Only problem came when they were to complete exterior work. They ignored notes in account to provide 2 ports for downspout tie in to daylight drain. They dug a trench that uprooted and destroyed my underground cable TV and broadband service to the house and failed to leave the cable exposed for service. To their credit, they are paying for the cable repair and have fixed the downspout issue within 72 hours. I needed service inside to reconnect the drain after it was dug up to accommodate a failed sewage ejector. That work was timely and superior. This is a reputable firm.

We survived the Noreaster of April 2007 without a drop of water in the basement. Prior to their work, we would have had a basement swimming pool! Only issue was that it took several weeks for them to come and evaluate the situation, and another few weeks to complete the job. However, the job was fully completed on the scheduled day.

They came on time, work was done quick, and the basement is dryer than ever. Recommend to everyone.

I HAVE RECOMMENDED THEM MANY TIMES TO DIFFERENT PEOPLE THAT I KNOW. I WAS REALLY PLEASED THAT THEY WERE SO PROMPT AND THAT THEY SHOWED UP RIGHT AWAY. THEY WERE JUST REALLY GOOD! THEY SEEMED TO BE REALLY RESPONSIBLE ABOUT THEIR WORK.

Overall experience was great! My builder put it in quickly (it took about 20 minutes), and gave me a warranty that protects that floor from getting wet for 20 years. If I sell the house, I can transfer the warranty to the next buyer. It makes my house more valuable, because I can finish off my basement without worrying that I will get water on my stuff. I even put a home theatre down there -- that's pretty expensive stuff. But I don't worry because CactusBoard protects me.

Work was done fast, and we have had no problem with water since.

Great Experience. Really organized outfit. If they say they will be there on a particular date 2 months hence, they will be there. Wish more contractors were as professional.

IT WAS FINE. THEY CAME WHEN THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO COME, AND THEIR WORK SEEMED TO BE IN ORDER. THEY WERE POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL. THE PRICE WAS OK CONSIDERING THEY REALLY DIDN'T HAVE TO DO THAT MUCH. THEY WERE ONLY CHECKING, NOT REPLACING.

THEY WERE NICE. THEY DID GOOD WORK, AND THE PRICE IS OK. IT WASN'T OUTSTANDING, BUT IT WAS GOOD. THEY WERE LATE A COUPLE TIMES BECAUSE OF TRAFFIC AND A CAR BREAKDOWN.

THEY CAME FIRST FOR A SERVICE CALL. THE SUMP PUMP WASN T WORKING & THEY TRIED TO FIX THAT. ONCE IT WAS DETERMINED THAT IT COULDN'T BE FIXED, THEY INSTALLED A NEW ONE. THEY HELPED WATERPROOF THE HOUSE FURTHER WHILE THEY WERE DOWN THERE. THEY WERE ON TIME & PERFORMED THE SERVICE. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL, CLEAN, WELL DRESSED, & POLITE.

THEY WERE JUST GREAT. THEY CAME OUT RIGHT AWAY AND FIXED IT. THEY FIXED IT SO WELL THAT THEY DIDN'T HAVE TO COME BACK. I HAVE NOT HAD A PROBLEM SINCE. THE PRICE WAS FINE. IT WAS AN EXPENSIVE JOB, BUT IT WAS COMPARABLE TO EVERYONE ELSE'S PRICE. THE GUY WAS GOOD ABOUT EXPLAINING HOW HE WOULD FIX THE CRACKS AND HOW HE COULD PREVENT WATER FROM RETURNING.

THE GUY WAS EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL, AND THE CREW WHO DID THE WORK DID EXACTLY WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO. THEY CLEANED UP VERY WELL WHEN THEY WERE DONE.

THEY'RE HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL. THEIR RATES ARE COMPETITIVE. YOU CAN COUNT ON THEM TO COME OUT IF THERE'S A PROBLEM. THEY'VE BEEN AROUND A LONG TIME. I USE THEM AND I RECOMMEND THEM TO MY CLIENTS. FOR THE SIZE OF THE SPACE, IT WAS A FAIR PRICE. IT WASN'T THE ONLY PRICE QUOTE I GOT. I WAS LEANING TOWARDS THEM.
