Description of Work: Randy solved a problem that we have been struggling with for months. We had a gas insert installed at the end of the winter of 2011. Almost from the start, there was a smell of gas. The company checked everything and suggested that we needed a new gas line. Randy checked the fittings of the plumber who was subcontracted by the company, and found that they had omitted to install two split brass rings that created a seal for the gas. In a very short time, he solved a problem that nobody else seemed able to solve. They all wanted to give us a new gas line which was not needed. Randy was fabulous. He replaced a fitting and incorporated the split brass rings necessary to give us a good seal. He went over and above to solve the problem that nobody else could solve. Thank you Randy.

The work Randy performed was excellent. He approached each facet of the project with knowledge, confidence, and accuracy, Rarely have I had such complete faith and trust in a contractor. In addition, he brought a high level of professionalism and pride to his work. What further distinguished him from other contractors was the way in which he took the time to explain the process he used for each aspect of the job. He was like the "Mike Holmes" (HGTV's Holmes on Homes) of plumbing. While his rates were on the high side, the quality of his work justified the expense, especially when you consider the work I had to have redone. I look forward to hiring him for my upcoming kitchen renovation project and for any other plumbing needs in my home.
Description of Work: I hired Randy to complete the plumbing in a high-end master bathroom renovation. The rough-in work had been completed by an unlicensed plumber, who was not available to complete the job once the tiling had been completed. Randy installed the sink faucets, toilet, and the shower head, hand held device, and diverter cover. The rough-in work for the shower was done incorrectly, which required opening up the bedroom wall to correct the problem. Randy also discovered other areas that were not done to code and/or to his standard and explained why it was important to address each of these areas.
