CHEMLAWN

Before service began I requested to be informed of the date when the service would occur. The reason I requested to be informed is to supervise the application. I received an email informing me of the application 17 days later. I have called customer service 3 times requesting a return phone call which I have yet to receive.

We have the yearly contract with Chemlawn to come when they need to and they provide whatever service the lawn is in need of. They just show up and take care of everything, so I do not have to worry about scheduling what application when. I would certainly recommend their services to others.

3 out of 5 times they came out to treat my lawn, they treated it either as it was raining or just before it poured rain (and it was forecasted to rain hard). They use a liquid form of fertilizer. If you put that down when it rains, it's not going to stick to the blades of grass and weeds, like it's supposed to for at least a day or so to be absorbed by the plant. My lawn is in terrible shape. I'm cancelling my service. (FYI, my neighbor is cancelling as well).

Spring - Our lawn looked beautiful. Trugreen provided the fertilization services and all was well until the lawn began to die. They told us that we should water more. We did. The lawn still died in large patches. We were told to over seed it and the manager called several times to sell this service for another $300. Summer - We discovered grubs and chinch bugs. We asked to have someone come to check. Several calls had to be made before someone came. Another grub and chinch bug control was made. A receipt was not left for this visit. The lawn was clearly eaten up and the specialist that came said that we had not only grubs but also many chinch bugs. The manager said that he would take care of fixing the lawn. Fall - Weeks went by and no one came. Our calls were not returned. When we did speak to the manager he told us that we should have the lawn seeded at our expense. This was clearly a violation of the contract that we signed. We would never recommend this company.

I HAD MUCH BETTER RESULTS WHEN I DID THE JOB MYSELF. THEY CAME OUT AND WERE DONE IN 45 MINUTES; WHICH I THOUGHT WAS WAY TOO QUICK FOR THE SIZE OF MY YARD.

THEIR SERVICE IS EXPENSIVE BUT GOOD. THEIR WORKERS ARE PROFESSIONAL AT ALL TIMES, BUT I DON'T KNOW IF IT IS DOING MY LAWN A LOT OF GOOD. THEY ARE VERY CUSTOMER FRIENDLY AND HONEST COMPANY.

WE DON'T HAVE THEM ANY MORE. THEY KEPT TELLING US WE NEEDED TO DO MORE & WE DID NOT WANT TO DO MORE. WE WERE HAPPY WITH THEY WAY OUR LAWN LOOKED. THE PRICE WAS TOO HIGH & THEY DID WHAT THEY WANTED.

I WOULD SUGGEST YOU USE THEM. THEY DO QUALITY WORK. THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL, AND FRIENDLY. IF I HAVE A QUESTION THEY ANSWER IT FOR ME. THEY ARE ALWAYS ON TIME, AND THEY CALL A DAY BEFORE TO LET US KNOW THEY ARE COMING.

WE WERE REALLY NOT HAPPY WITH THIS COMPANY. FOR EVERYTHING THAT THEY WROTE DOWN ON THE BILL THAT THEY SUPPOSEDLY DID, WE FEEL THERE WAS NO WAY THEY COULD HAVE POSSIBLY DONE IT IN THE BRIEF AMOUNT OF TIME THAT THEY WERE THERE.

THEY HAVE OUR LAWN LOOKING REALLY GOOD AND THEY ARE ALWAYS VERY PROMPT. I HAVE USED THEM FOR AWHILE NOW, AND THEY DO QUALITY WORK. THE SERVICE THEY PROVIDE IS VERY GOOD.

WE HAD A LOT OF WEEDS. WE EXPLAINED THAT WE WANTED THEM KILLED. THEY DID NOT KILL THEM. THEY ANALYZED THE GRASS AND EXPLAINED THAT IT HAD GOOD COLOR AND NO WEEDS. I THOUGHT THEY WERE WRONG AND WON'T BE COMING BACK.

ACTUALLY, THE LAWN ENDED UP LOOKING WORSE AFTER THEY DID THE TREATMENTS. I WOULD SAY THAT I'VE DONE A MUCH BETTER JOB MAKING THE GRASS LOOK GOOD THAN THEY HAVE. WE WERE NOT VERY HAPPY.

I DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO COMPARE THEM WITH. I AM SATISFIED WITH THEIR SERVICES BUT I PROBABLY WON'T USE THEM AGAIN. I NEVER KNOW WHEN THEY ARE SCHEDULED TO COME.

THEY USED LIQUID FERTILIZER EVEN THOUGH I TOLD THEM NOT TO. IT WILL BURN THE LAWN IF IT IS NOT PUT ON RIGHT. THEIR MATERIAL IS JUST NOT EFFECTIVE. THEY MISSED A LOT OF SPOTS, AND THERE WERE SOME WEEDS.

THEY DID A VERY POOR JOB. WHILE THEY WERE MAINTAINING OUR LAWN, THE GRASS WAS YELLOW. THEY NEVER FOLLOWED THE PRICING CONTRACT AND WOULD ALWAYS GET SHORT WHEN I CALLED AND COMPLAINED.

THE EMPLOYEES ARE VERY COURTEOUS AND THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL. THEY WERE HERE WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE. I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING THEM EVERY TIME THEY COME OUT.

WE ARE HAPPY WITH THE COMPANY THAT WE USE BECAUSE THEY DO QUALITY WORK I LIKE HOW MY LAWN LOOKS AND THEY FACT THAT THEY ALWAYS PUT UP SIGNS IN MY LAWN WHILE THEY DO THEIR WORK.

I HAVE USED THEM FOR SEVERAL YEARS, AND I THINK THAT THEY DO A GOOD JOB. I'M USUALLY NOT EVEN AROUND WHEN THEY COME, BUT I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THEM OF ANY KIND.

I'VE BEEN USING THIS COMPANY FOR ABOUT EIGHT YEARS, EVERY YEAR THEY COME OUT AND TAKE GOOD CARE OF MY GRASS. IT DOES NOT TAKE THEM LONG TO COMPLETE THEIR JOB AND MY YARD IS VERY GREEN.

I WAS NOT AT ALL HAPPY WITH THE JOB THAT THEY DID TO MY LAWN. WHEN THEY AERATED IT, THEY TOTALLY TORE UP MY LAWN. THEY DID NOT DO WHAT I EXPECTED. I CAN DO A BETTER JOB THAN WHAT THEY DID.

THEY MAKE SURE TO DO A QUALITY JOB FOR US EVERY TIME THEY ARE AT THE HOUSE. THEY ARE VERY PROMPT SHOWING UP WHEN THEY SAY THAT THEY WILL AND THEY DO GOOD WORK.

THEY ARE OKAY AND WE ARE SATISFIED. THEY HAVE A SCHEDULE BUT WE NEVER KNOW WHEN THEY ARE COMING. OUR YARD LOOKS FINE. WE DO NOT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH IT.

OVERALL, THE WORK PERFORMED BY THIS COMPANY WAS LOUSY. WE ALWAYS HAD TO CALL THEM UP BECAUSE THEY NEVER CHECKED UP ON THEIR WORK. THEIR COMPANY WAS JUST USELESS.

I THOUGHT THEY WERE VERY ANNOYING. THEIR PRODUCTS DO NOT WORK. WE ASKED THEM TO SWITCH THE PRODUCTS, AND THEY WOULD NOT DO IT. THEIR PROFESSIONALISM WAS VERY POOR. I WILL NOT HAVE THEM BACK TO MY HOME.

THEIR SERVICE IS ALRIGHT NEITHER REALLY GOOD OR BAD, IT IS JUST OK. MY YARD IS LOOKING VERY NICE AND I DON'T HAVE ANY WEEDS. HOWEVER, THEY COULD BE A LITTLE MORE FRIENDLY WHEN DOING THEIR WORK.
