We were referred to Jason by another installer that was too busy and not interested in taking on a new client. We had an existing system that had been installed years before we purchased the home and had Jason's team come out to see if we were able to salvage the equipment. It turned out the the controller had been hit by lightning and the wire was installation was not in a full loop. They recommended that we start over with a brand new installation and we were very impressed with the price. I was somewhat skeptical that our dog would be a candidate as she typically tries to chase animals and run off at any chance she got but we were assured that with the proper training it would not be an issue. The installer showed up on time and when he was finished there was absolutely no evidence that the wire was even installed which was very impressive. We had the 4 training sessions and our dog immediately understood the fence and thus far (2 months) has yet to challenge the fence. Jason followed up after the training to ensure that we had no concerns. It is great that she can now roam the property and we don't have to worry about her running off. I would highly recommend them.
Description of Work: Removed old wire that was no longer in working order, installed new fence around entire perimeter. Also provided training for our dog.

Jason scheduled an informational meeting to walk around the property and get an idea of how much, and where, we needed the fencing. He prepared an estimate for us, which was quite reasonable, and scheduled an installation date in a few weeks. His crew arrived exactly when they said they would, and the project was completed in a timely manner. Very pleased with the whole process, and the dog can run around without his leash now!

Description of Work: Pet Perimeters initially came out to provide a quote for an underground electric fence. The salesman was very knowledgeable and spent a decent amount of time explaining what was needed and how it would be installed. After setting up the appointment to install the fence the salesman came out with the installer and explained to the installer exactly what was needed. The installer was on the property for an entire day and his work was impeccable. The following week, Jason, the owner came out and trained our dog for 4 days. He was on time every day and trained our black lab in an amazing amount of time. He set very clear expectations on what was needed after he finished his training. So far things are going very well with the training on our side. I would highly recommend Jason and his team to install your underground pet fencing.

I was eager to have the pet containment system put in, so the dogs could run around the whole yard safely and enjoy not being on a leash all the time. The under ground wire was installed before a hard frost set in. If it weren't for the orange warning flags sticking up a few feet from the wire, you would never know that anything had been put in the ground or across the asphalt driveway. Jason came with the collars and explained exactly how and when to recharge them. We went into the cellar and he showed me where the outside wire was connected and what the lights on it mean. He then fitted each dog with their special collar and took one at a time to start training them about where their boundaries are. He was so patient and gentle with his training. My cocker spaniel puppy, who is full of energy, was a challenge. Jason took his time, walking him around the yard and reminding him of his boundaries. Jason was amazing in the way he spoke to the dogs and guided them around the yard. He has a genuine kindness toward animals and the pets respond to this. It was such a pleasure watching and working with Jason Linn. He came several times later to work with my dogs. Since then my 17 year old cocker mix passed away and I miss him dearly. I am comfortable knowing that my two other dogs are enjoying their freedom to run and play. I am still able to walk them when I want, by carrying them across the boundary wire. I have to report that the system worked this winter, even under 36 plus inches of snow-Amazing! I'm thrilled to have this protective system in place, I only wish that I had done this sooner. I highly recommend Jason Linn and Pet Perimeter Inc for any type or size of dog. His knowledge and compassion for animals is wonderful.
Description of Work: I had three dogs that I wanted to let out in the yard and keep them secure and safe. One was a very active young cocker spaniel. Then an older cocker spaniel mix and a two year old maltese mix. They got along well but needed to be walked before and after my work. It became quite a challenge with three dogs on leashes, especially after night fall. I decided to look into a containment system. I spoke with other dog owners and did my research on line and through written reports. I called several companies for information. The best response I received was from Jason Linn at Pet Perimiters Inc. The other companies were not very informative. Jason agreed to meet with me and my pets to discuss his system and training. He arrived promptly on the given date. He had a very calm, soft spoken manner. I was curious to see how my dogs would respond to him. Especially the maltese mix who I adopted from the shelter and was fearful and aggressive toward men. He let the dogs approach him and sniff. We settled in the kitchen where he began to explain Pet Perimeters. He answered all the questions I had. I was pleased to learn that the batteries in the dogs collars were rechargeable, which saves money in the future. Also, the product is completely made in the USA. Then he gently greeted the dogs, pet them and played with them. Even my maltese warmed up to him and didn't show any aggression. I was so pleased by his thorough description, his wonderful way with my animals, and the containment system itself. I decided that this would suit my needs perfectly.

I could not be happier with Jason and his team's work. The installation was completed in a fast and efficient manner. Jason is incredibly professional and has a strong sense of responsibility. He is very flexible and willing to accommodate very specific needs. For example, when the fence required some tweaking, he adjusted the settings immediately and scheduled time for his team to come out and move the wire in a particular area. While he was not the cheapest option upfront, he does not nickel and dime you along the way - there are NO surprises. The battery is rechargeable (rather than some firms which make you pay $60+ a year to buy batteries from them). He offers unlimited training sessions in the first 6 months for stubborn dogs that just don't get it. He uses piping around the wires in delicate areas to minimize the risk of breakage in the future. He is willing to come back and fix the wires if I inadvertently damage the wires while digging in the garden. He thought ahead and offered to provide a longer collar as my puppy grew larger. It was clear that he was very focused on getting the right result and stands behind his work 100%.
Description of Work: Pet Perimeters completed a complicated installation of an invisible fence around my landscaped yard. I had very specific needs beyond just keeping the dog on the property (i.e., keeping the dog out of the mulch and ornamentals in the landscaped areas).

They were fantastic. They returned my call promptly and were out the next day to fix what I needed to have fixed. They were really good. The price was fair; it was good. I would definitely use them again.

Jason didn't actually install the fence - I had used another company, whose training packages were extremely expensive. I tried to train them myself, but a year after installation, the dogs still didn't get it. Jason was recommended by a neighbor - he came the day after I called and led the dogs through their paces. Within a month I was finally able to open the door and let them out without fear that they would bolt. When the more peripatetic of the two dogs took off after a deer a month ago, Jason came over right away to reinforce the training. He's a very nice guy with a strong sense of responsibility.

We had installed an invisible fence through another dealer, but did not use their training service because it was extremely expensive. Tried to train the dogs on our own, but weather, construction, and other factors impeded our efforts. A year later, the dogs still didn't get it. For an extremely reasonable fee, Jason took over and within 2 weeks the dogs were happily watching the world go by. They spend half the day outdoors now, and I have my life back.

We bought a house that had a wireless fence already, but for some reason they only had it going half way up our yard. So if we threw the ball too far, the dog could not go. The previous owner used Pet Perimeter and recommended them so we called them up. They extended our fence for us and it was a quick process and was reasonably priced. They also trained our dog on the fence and were great with her. She loved them and learned fast. We would definitely use them again.

I highly recommend this company. I used them on our previous residence. Upon moving to my new home, it was a sure bet to call them for my dog's fencing needs. During the installation process, they were very neat in digging the trenches. Upon completion, they cleaned up the yard. During a storm, lightening hit the transmitter. I telephoned the company and they came immediately. Pet Perimeters resolved the problem and gave my dog a free collar with batteries. Unfortunately, I do not recall the price but know it was comparable to other like companies.
Description of Work: Pet Perimeters installed an invisible wire dog fence in my 2 acres of property. The previous home owner had a small area of invisible fencing in the backyard so this was reused. With the installation, they provide the fence, transmitter, collar with batteries. They also train the dog once the fence is operating.
