+ -1 moreNew Beginnings Landscape in Ridgefield CT has done work for us before and we have always been very pleased with the quality of their designs and the actual work performed. This ocassion was no exception. I can trust their recommendations. We chose New Beginnings because they always find a way to translate what we want into a very thoughtful design that goes above and beyond the literal requirements we specify. Said another way, they bring their expertise and skill in landscaping into their design proposal in ways that engage us and -- ultimately -- end up delivering for us a better and more appealing outcome. They performed the work as outlined in their proposal to us, at the price they quoted. They arrived when they said they would and were very professional throughout. I would definitely recommend them. We were very pleased with the outcome they delivered. Maybe a little more expensive than other landscaping companies out there, but as is often true, you get what you pay for.
Description of Work: new border plantings and backdrop of mixed evergreens for screening effect in back yard. opened up our back yard by reconfiguring some existing gardening. A new Cherry tree to provide deck screening and shade. Removal of one deciduous tree on property.

+ -1 moreBuyer Beware! The estimate for this job was $500. They came on a day when no one was home and did most of the work but no pruning. The invoice came in at almost double the original estimate and their only response was "well it took longer than we thought'. I hope their inability to provide a fairly accurate estimate is due to pure incompetence and nothing more sinister. I would not recommend using them for your landscaping needs.
Description of Work: A spring cleanup of our yard to include some pruning.
