A fantastic job from start to finish. Realistic timelines were provided and we could not be happier with our new modern kitchen. Had quotes from other companies but they were by far the most organized personnel wise with design assistants, etc.

John, the carpenter & over all project manager always arrived on time & coordinated the dumpster arrival, at time electricians & plumbers were needed. We always knew when people were coming & everyone was always on time. Arrangements were made to keep dust sown & everything was cleaned up everyday. Project was completed on time & on budget. The bathrooms are beautiful!

Scribners went over and above what was required as our contractor for the kitchen, pantry, hall and bathroom remodel. Remodel started June 13, 2016 completed July 6, 2016. Jim Moran owner of Scribners stated job would take four weeks . Job was completed early. From start to finish all aspects of the remodel went very smoothly. All contractors and sub contractors were punctual, professional and friendly. The planning process went extremely well, from the selection of the materials, design and the use of an architect to create plans to be used by all involved. Thanks to Jim and his team, their excellent planning and decision making process, the dream of a new kitchen, hallway, pantry and bathroom came to fruition on Time and on Budget. I truly appreciate the exceptional customer service and professionalism I received from the moment I contacted Scribner's for the initial inquiry, through implementation of the job by Jim and his team. Everyone was extremely helpful. The quality of the work was exceptional, especially the cabinets and counter tops, which are gorgeous. Installation was flawless and I am pleased with the final product. The work performed by their subcontractors was also of very high quality. It was a pleasure to work with Scribner's, as they were polite, courteous and professional. If/when I have another remodel project, I would definitely contact Scribner's. Furthermore, I would recommend them to family and friends.

The job was executed in a very professional manner from the first meeting to the post job wrap up. The job was relatively small in scale, but we were treated as if our job was as important as all other work being conducted by Scribner's. The 320 pound tub was removed in one piece and taken down two flights of stairs without making a scratch. The new tub was brought in and walls were built out to accommodate the new dimensions per the design discussed in the office before the job started. The new tile installation was performed so that the tile layout was optimal in appearance and per the agreed-to design. Scribner's took the time before the job to work with the customer to select the tile type and layout using their database of photos from similar jobs. This was a large benefit to allow the customer to select material and geometry with confidence and the customer was never hurried to make the choice. The schedule was maintained by the seamless flow of the different staff members; there was no gap in time when the job was idle. I will recommend Scribner's to others for kitchen and bath renovations.

We were delighted with the level of service provided; from the owner to the general contractor to the plumber to the electricians + the designer. They were skilled, professional, and punctual.

It was like a will orchestrated symphony all were professional perfectionism plumber, electrician, carpenter. I have yet to find a single flaw.

We wanted to redo our shower cabin, which was too small for the size of our bathroom. From start to end we enjoyed working with the Scribners team. Jim and Vanessa have an incredible attention to detail, which is something we were looking for. From the initial engagement they spent ample time with us going through the design and material options. We never felt rushed to commit to the project and we did take a long time to decide. Due to the materials we selected the cost of the project was on the high side, but you do get what you pay for, no doubt about it. We picked the shower to be custom built using SynMar composite walls and base, frame-less glass and a rustic Italian tile to finish it off all around. Then once we signed the contract the project was a breeze and their workers were surprisingly clean throughout the process, even put down protective floor covers from the house door through the stairs and into the bathroom and took them away every day. We wanted to make sure the job was done right, precisely to our specifications and Scribners delivered on that promise.

The whole remodel went perfectly! The design process was easy and professional. The outcome was more than I ever expected. The workers were professional, punctual, polite and very respectful of our home. Three years later, I still say how much I love my new kitchen ! I highly recommend Scribner's and would definitely use them again!

After several sit down sessions with computer visualizations, we agreed upon changes to be made. A detailed drawing was produced documenting everything that was agreed to. Some minor changes were made during installation process with no squawks. Lighting provided was above and beyond. Multi room switching, dimmers, pocket lights - all the bell and whistles. Finished on time for original price. The contractor provided special help in fixture, color, and flooring selections. The lead carpenter was personable and skilled. We are happy -it was easy.

Superb. Jim Moran came out to look at our project. Within days estimate came in with design. Project started a week earlier than schedule and proceeded efficiently within time-span that was given in estimate.

Overall the experience was fine. We did not use Scribners due to the high price and miss understanding of what we really wanted for our bath remodel.

Jim and Vanessa were great to work with throughout the process. Their suggestions and advice pointed us in the right direction and helped us get the kitchen and baths of our dreams. We were impressed by the skill and professionalism of the workers . Ken the carpenter and Vern the tile setter are fantastic. It was a painless process.

This process went very well. We met initially with Jim to discuss the general process that Scribner's uses. Jim came out took initial measurements and photos and developed a comprehensive plan with several alternatives. This plan was revised based on our inputs and trade-offs made in cost/material/scope. During the process a certified architect came out conducted additional measurements to ensure plans would meet code. Once, we had ordered all of our appliances, lights, etc, Scribner's coordinated with the appliance stores concerning delivery and timing. And, the start date was scheduled. We appreciated that Scribner's wouldn't start until parts were on hand. I think the original estimate was about 8 weeks, and the construction was completed early. Workers showed up on time, were very professional, courteous and fast. In particular, the lead carpenter Ken was outstanding. Jim also kept in close watch and was able to quickly address any concerns. The electrician did a fantastic job of installing new lights in the kitchen and installing new LED lights in the adjacent room. We hired Scribners because we wanted a single point of contact and high quality. They delivered on both. We intend on using them to remodel several bathrooms. This project has completely changed our main living area. It took an outmoded architecture, cabinets and created a spacious area that was a major success over Thanksgiving.

My interaction with them was very positive. They gave me a very good feedback and ideas about placement and design. Their estimate was very fair. People should definitely seek their advice and their estimate. They may not use them as their contractor but they should definitely use the company to help them pick one.

The work was done very well. Vanessa gave me great advice about tile choices, the selection of fixtures, and explained the process fully and clearly . The carpentry work of John, in particular, was detailed and precise. Lori and Jim were responsive to my questions, and provided me an exact estimate quickly and conveniently.

It was a rough quote, he came in to do a preliminary quote and then he said if we want to use them, he would give us the final quote because he wanted to know how the other people did on their quotes, but we decided to go with someone else. He was really professional and really nice when he came out to the house. He was pleasant but it seemed like he was going to be higher in cost than the others were, so we didn’t use them. What stood out to me was his attention to detail, it was good, and that it was a comprehensive job and the help in the design process. The quote was good but it just wasn’t what we wanted.

Our goal was not a complete remodel to our kitchen but to give it a "face lift". Jim and Vanessa were extremely responsive, professional and creative in developing a plan that met our goals at a price that was attractive. However, due to circumstances that were entirely unrelated to Scribner's, we are not able to proceed with the work at this time. I would highly recommend Scribner's and I hope that we will be able to proceed with our project in the future.

Everything went well. When there were questions or concerns we immediately got together with the workmen on site. They would check with Jim if they could not answer our questions. Jim would get back to us with answers and a visit if necessary. There weren't any delays with him contacting us. The Payment Schedule was understood from the beginning of the job and payments became due when certain stages of the kitchen were completed. Our kitchen took about 4 or 5 weeks to complete.

Recieved a really nice presentation of the potential modifications that met our expectations from a style point of view. However, after discussing with them that this was a small bathroom and we weren't looking to spend a whole lot, the estimate came back around $17k, not even in the ballpark. There was no follow up. It seemed clear to us they weren't interested in the type of limited upgrades we were looking for.

We had a very small kitchen and a floor plan that was not open. We ended up removing a half bath (still left us with 3 baths in house) and taking down a wall to open up the kitchen. We were able to get a large island (which we love) and makes everyday life and entertaining so much easier. Jim was great in the design process and presented and modified several options for us. Vanessa's interior design expertise helped steer us in the right direction as we picked counters, cabinet styles and flooring. It was great to have her right there as we made these critical choices. We wanted to invest in making choices that were classic enough to last for years to come. We are enjoying the kitchen and love the layout of our first floor.
