I rated "price" as B because the deal only covered one flue, not the "chimney." (My chimney has three flues.) The staff member was very professional and courteous, and the worksite (wood stove) was very clean. I would use them again.

The estimated arrival time was one day behind since we had a middle man dispatching the actual service provider. The service itself was quick, friendly, and effective. In the future I will call MTM directly.

Service was fine. Nothing very spectacular and nothing very disappointing. When we did the home inspection before we bought the house, they said that there is something wrong with the flagging in the chimney. When I asked him about it, he said it was not part of his job and he had to get on the roof to check it.

I received an email response to my deal purchase over the weekend, telling me to call their office. Which I did on Monday. I could only leave a message. In my messages, I said that I also wanted their help repairing a remote damper and looking at the exterior of the chimney for tuck pointing. After waiting several days for some sort of response, I sent another Angie's List email to the vendor requesting a response of some sort. Nothing. One Saturday morning, I get a phone call out of the blue: we're arriving at your house in about 20 minutes to clean the chimney. My first contact. No arranging a time or scheduling the visit. Just appearing unannounced. Good thing I was home. Service people were pleasant and tried to help with the remote damper--but knew nothing of the problem before arriving, so did not have proper equipment on the truck. Said owner was away, but would contact me when he returned to town about the other issues I needed help with. Owner and I ultimately connected, but needed to check calendars to set up appointment, requiring another phone call. I called, was told that he was in middle of job and would call back. That was several weeks ago. Let me just say that my phone has not rung with his return call. Deeply disappointing.

This was not the best experience. The original date for the sweep was canceled on the morning-of so we had to reschedule, even through we had already arrived at the house (we weren't living there at the time). When the firebox was cleaned out ash was blown everywhere throughout the house; no filter had been installed on the vacuum. The response by the contractor to this was relatively uncaring--we could not believe he had just distributed ash all over the newly cleaned house. It took us hours to clean it up and we were only thankful that no furniture was in the place at the time or it would have been a complete disaster.

Great. They were on time, professional and explained everything they did. They also answered some of my questions.

The service went well. We had to re-schedule a few times, but other than that the service went fine. They did the work at a tenant’s so I was not there for the service. The people I spoke with over the phone were nice to work with.

They came at the scheduled time and did a great job.

They came and made up for the scheduling error. Without charge, Kyle checked two chimneys and swept one. He was clean, efficient, knowledgeable, and, he was willing to share his knowledge (I ask a lot of questions). He did not try to sell me any add on or additional services. I would use them again.

The company for fast and showed up on time. They called in advance. I didnt understand why they cleaned the chimney from inside rather than putting a latter up to the top and pushing the brush down from the top.

They arrived on time and took about an hour to clean chimney. Had to come back at a later date to fix points. We were satisfied with the job.

It went okay. There was some miscommunication with the time; but other than that, it was fine. I kind of had a medium feeling about the whole thing. They said they would be doing smaller inspections and they didn't. They kind of just came in and did the cleaning. They came and did the job..

Mike performed a good cleaning and inspecting my two fireplaces and furnace flu. During the inspection Mike fixed the fire box in the living area fireplace. Both Mike and his worker were professional, clean, and answered all my questions. Inspection of the furnace flu Mike found the inner liner crumbling filling the cleanout and another 3 to 4 feet of flu. Mike gave me his recommendation to install and stainless steel liner kit and showed me the problem first hand. Paid for the work he completed and he gave me a quote and let me think about it having just moved into the home. I called back later that day to have the kit ordered. A few days later when the liner came in Mike called and set up and installation a day or two later. I asked Mike about a chimney cap for the second chimney, not a problem, the second chimney was capped when the furnace liner was installed. During the job he was on time, courteous, explained and checked all his work completed. I will call MTM Masonry & Chimney if work is ever needed again.

Everything went well. They came when they said they would, did the work, and left. They cleaned up after themselves, were professional and overall it was a very good experience.

My daughter was home and described them as being punctual, hard working and caring. They cleaned up after themselves well. I only wish they had removed the ash from the stove also.

They were not only on time but little early. I received a courteous call to confirm time. They were professional and cleaned up chimney beautifully.

Showed up within the service window provided. Did the job efficiently in under 30 mins. No complaints.

They missed their appointment and did not inform me they would not be coming.

Appointment was for between 9-12 today. Called company at 11.35 as hadn't heard anything from them. Was told they may be able to make it by around 1.30. I have taken time from work to wait for them and they didn't call to let me know they couldn't make the appointment. I have had to cancel.

Arrived on time , inspected inside and out. Was very polite and helpful.
