Description of Work: I was having a problem with the electric around my pond, They came out and performed tests to make sure that the wires were ok. They replaced the outlets and boxes even when it started raining. Everything was tested again and there are no more problems. Would use them again when I need to have more work done in the future.

+ -1 moreGave me ballpark estimate over phone before I purchased house. Gave me detaied estimate in wriiting within one day of meeting with me. When we met and discussed job, he verified what he was estimating before he left. They made recommedations that I would have overlooked. They pulled the permit for the work. Did exactly what he said he would do and additional items as I changed my mind during the work. Was not a problem at all. Coordinated with building inspector to get work verified. Zero issues with inspector. I have had them perform additional work for me since the initial job. They are very punctual and trustworthy. They have all my future work.
Description of Work: Changed srevice from 60 amp to 200 amp. Added additional plugs as I requested inside and outside. Installed new panel boards oversize for future add ons.

Not only was his price extremely reasonable (I'd been shopping around and places like Mr. Sparky were charging me up to $800), but he was also prompt to call back, showed up on time, professional and even cleaned up after himself. In the price they also included some minor patch work and an option to install a fan in the future if I ever needed to. I would strongly recommend ZIan to anyone looking for an electrician in the area.

+ -1 moreHe came in Friday night really just to fix the fan and quote the generator install. he agreed to come late because we were working. After testing the switch he initially installed he realized it the fan was putting out 0.2 more Amps than the switch was rated for. It worked and he could have left and I am sure it would had worked for a long while , but he brought it to my attention indicating he would recommend getting the right one. He tried to find it at Lowe's or home Depot as the electrical supply houses were already closed, but they did not have them He agreed to come back Saturday morning to finish the job. On Saturday he installed the switch and my wife asked him about the outlets in her sitting room. Again he realized they were all wired wrong and fixed them all. She then asked if he would install the light in her closet. he quoted a fair price and he did that for us. After finishing that he installed the box for the potable generator. Excellent work for a fair price.
Description of Work: rewired every outlet ( 7) in the sitting room adding our bedroom. Somehow they were wired improperly and worked intermittently. He saw it in one where we were having problems and realized the others might be wired improperly in the others. He was right and fixed them all. He also put in a rheostat for a whole house fan that was not working. He diagnosed the problem as the switch and not the motor and then found, with trouble, the properly rated switch. The amperage for this fan was over 5 amps on the high speed and the standard switch was less. He went to several supply houses before finding a 12 AMP switch to handle the load. He put a light in our hall coat closet Lastly he installed an additional box and simple one one move switchover to handle a portable generator. Everything was done well and the owner/electrician completed all work for the quoted prices even though he had to come back twice because of the need to find the right switch for the fan. I recommend him without reservation.
