Description of Work: Pumped out our 500 gallon septic tank.

Description of Work: We called Abrahamson Septic for a pump out after we had a bit of water coming back up our main drain and splashing back on the washer outlet. Abrahamson had done our tank inspection when we bought our house, and they had been recommended again by our real estate agent. |Even though there was snow on the ground, they opened up our septic tank and gave us the thumbs up on condition; the pumping went smoothly, and we were advised to upgrade our access to a round port that didn't require the rebar hooks that can rust out. The pumping was $300 and the replacement for the cover was priced at $200. |Because of the issue we had with water backing up, they also snaked our main drain to clear any blockages. Everything was going great until about 48 hours later when we were getting water coming out of the washer drain again- this time when we flushed the toilet. As it happened, this coincided with a big snowstorm, so we were high and dry for a day even though we put in a call to Abrahamson again. |They came out early the next morning and opened up the tank, snaked it like there was no tomorrow, and mentioned that the connection from the cast iron main drain in the house and the tank was an older kind of pipe that was subject to deterioration. Of course, there was no charge for the call. |Two months later, we have had no issues, and we know if we do, the next steps for replacing the house to tank stretch with high strength PVC are very straightforward. |I would recommend Abrahamson Septic enthusiastically. I learned a great deal just from chatting with the guys as they did their work, and that alone is an added value! | |

Description of Work: Pump 1500 gal septic, snaked all lines, cleaned D boxes that was filled with sand and dirt, fixed outlet baffle, and did an inspection.
