Nick Construction replaced brick and a mantle after we installed a wood stove insert into an existing fireplace. Nick was the first to respond after we entered our information on Home Advisor. Once we had an agreement, Nick and his crew arrived and completed the job as agreed. There was an issue with the size of the mantle but Nick made a special trip to get another. He said he would not leave a job if it was not of the quality he would have in his own home. I am very happy with how it looks. Nick was easy to deal with and we would definitely recommend him.

Good job on stone work. Poor job on asphalt. Followup--Nick replied to my post that he was "Baffled" that asphalt was listed as poor as he doesn't do asphalt. When I hired Nick verbally and in the contract committed to "install black tar" where the steps were removed. The end result was a ruined driveway as water had penetrated below the tar and created cracks throughout the driveway. So I guess I am baffled how Nick claims he doesn't do asphalt yet committed to doing so on my job.

Very prompt, very professional. Nick was present and on site for at least 95% of the time. Installed a 95'sidewalk, and also rebuilt the top 1/3 of our chimney and replaced 2 flue pipes.. Arrived on time, worked long days. Very high quality work, has an eye for detail. A very pleasant process. Will use him again

I left them to do the work.when I came back from out of state!!! none of the 7 post they install were straight.none! they did not follow the contourn of the ground.they buried they own tools,they left a mess and left also one ton of stone in my backyard. and nick told me he did me a favor!!>stay away!!.

He did not try to sell me anything else while doing the job, and even cautioned against hiring him for anything else until this first job was done. Nick and his team are respectable, good natured, hard working people who I would trust with other, larger projects not limited to masonry work.

From the start he was punctual, helpful, professional, reasonable,hard working, caring, trustworthy. He is a man of his word, He even did extra in listening to all my concerns on dealing with water problems I was having due to the steps. We are very happy with how our steps look!
