We have several projects we are planning and this one simply got de-prioritized. P2P showed up as scheduled, estimated the work while on site, and provided a reasonable start date. We simply haven't chosen this project to move on yet.

Jeff responded promptly to my phone call and was able to work around my schedule to perform both services. He explained what needed to be done, how much time it would take and the cost. He was thorough, professional and courteous. This was the second time I used Phase to Phase. The first time was 3 weeks previous to this visit when Jeff installed an outlet behind our dishwasher so our new unit did not to be hardwired. I would highly recommend Jeff and his company for any of your electrical needs.

Everything went really well. They were very personable and friendly, they clearly explained the work, and they did a great job. In fact, they did so well that I asked them to do some additional work while they were at the house.

Mixed opinion. First technician at my house replaced 5 outlets in a bedroom quick- no problem. Then went to the living room ceiling fan and didn't have ladder high enough. Its only a 11' or so ceiling. He had like a 6' ladder at best. I do wish i had explained that part to be sure this wouldn't happen but some of it was my negligence thinking a van with a bunch of ladders would show and not a pick up with only one 6'. So he couldn't fix that. I explained that the remote was not working. The technician took a while to tell me the remote isn't working. He made me race around looking for a new battery. His next duty was to replace a light socket in an bathroom exhaust fan. My g/f had tried to remove the dead bulb and a bunch of the metal broke off remaining in the socket. I knew it was ruined but was hoping for a replacement. I explained it over the phone but apparently it was told to him just to check it out. The technician said he couldn't replace it and that i should check out a couple places to see if they have a spare. I was content with the answer but he seemed to take a long time to look at it. I was displeased with the price. It was a lot of money for changing 5 outlets which took him 20 minutes. He also was on the phone some with can be poorly perceived. He later called the owner but the owner wasn't in the area so he could get a taller ladder. so he left saying to reschedule but i get a big bill for him to work for 20 minutes and the rest of the time telling me what i already know. I had made a call to the owner to complain but he said he felt it was fair and he would like to come out and finish it. The new technician was the owner. He changed the ceiling fan very quickly and gave us valuable instructions on the new remote which i had supplied to him. He did a good job. He replaced one more exterior outlet real quick. He gave us some advice on the bathroom exhaust fan. He made an offer to make me happier by saying he will charge me a little less for this part of the project. The owner had told me over the phone that he would talk to the technician about a couple things but he said he forgot. He could have saved both of us some time if he had talked to his technician about my project. I received a bill and it wasn't the right price. The internal communication was POOR. I had to make several calls to get the right price because i told the front desk girl and she replied will talk to the owner. Finally i received the corrected bill with the angies list coupon and other minor changes including the deal he gave on the ceiling fan installation. owner did good work but dissatisfied enough not to invite them back.

Jeff came out to a**** the work that had to be done and quoted me at a price of $675. I told him that sounded good and we scheduled a day for him to come out and do the work. A few days before we scheduled to do the work, I contacted his office to confirm and was told that Jeff's partner and another helper would come out to do the work (not Jeff)), and I said as long as they knew what they were doing then that would be ok. They came out to do the work .. did a great job changing out the fixture in the bedroom ... when it came to the chandelier however, (while they did a good job with the installation) the helper was inexperienced and when he was up in my ceiling, he kneeled down incorrectly (not on one of the planks) and put a GIANT hole in my ceiling. His partner got Jeff on the phone and he told me he would come out to take a look at it when he was back from vacation. What I am disappointed in was everything that happened after; when he came to look at what happened he immediately started to spackle the ceiling, (didn't offer to hire a professional to fix the ceiling) and I had to stop him to ask him what he was doing (shouldn't he have gone over this with me ahead of time before he started to spackle?) .. my father-in-law (who was over my house at the time) asked him what he was doing he had an attitude with him, saying that he has done this a bunch of times and if I wanted to hire 'some fool' to fix the ceiling to go ahead. I was very disappointed in the way he handled himself, but I told him to just do what he needed and if it didn't look perfect at the end then we would go from there. It took him over a course of 3 weeks to finish it (it was over the holidays so I will give him that) but when it was time for me to pay he did not offer to take ANY money off the amount of my bill. I think as an owner of a company he should have a least given me some sort of discount for my incontinence. I wasn't looking for a hand out, but after putting a hole in my ceiling and having to come back 3 additional times to work on it I would have thought he would have taken some money off. The patch job in the end came out fine, if you didn't know what happened you probably wouldn't notice anything. But for the attitude alone and the unprofessionalism I wouldn't hire him again.
Description of Work: Changed a fan/light fixture in bedroom and installed a chandelier in the dining room.

Response from Phase to Phase Electric LLC
The first time I talked to you before the guys left, I explained that I was going to patch the hole myself. I do a lot of Sheetrock repair and have done for a few years, haven't heard a complaint yet about quality. If sticking up for yourself by someone who verbally attacks you (without introducing themselves) is considered unprofessional I guess I was unprofessional. The situation could have been handled differently by both myself and your boyfriends father. I pride myself in explaining every step as it happens. I feel I stopped what I was doing on a number of occasions to explain what was done and what the next steps were. I explained that I didn't want to inconvenience you and that I would fix the mistake whenever was good for you, that would also be the reason for the 3 week time. While I was cleaning up and trying to explain the finishing touches, you greeted me at the door with the check already filled out. Our last conversation I felt was nothing but good and you didn't indicate any reason for being unhappy. My apologies again for the mistake in the ceiling, I wish you good luck in the future.

Jeff & his crew were prompt, professional, resourceful, and efficient. They also found solutions to problems other electricians said could not be fixed without significant structural work. All this and a great attitude. And they left the work area cleaner than they found it. I also used them for an after-hours emergency & got an incredibly prompt response, including coordination with CL&P, that allowed us to have the lights back on within a few hours at a very reasonable price.

I needed work done fairly quickly in preparation for solar panel installation. Phase to Phase was very quick in responding to me on the Angie's list website. He also responded to phone calls in a reasonable time. Price was competitive or lower than all other estimates. His office staff was friendly and well informed.
Description of Work: I had my 100 amp service upgraded to 200 amp. The circuit panel was already installed. Phase to Phase ran 200 amp wire from street service wire to panel, installed meter socket, installed conduit /service mast, ran new ground wires and installed new grounding rods.

Told Jeff what I needed done, rather then waste time he gave me a round about estimate based on the distance of the new outlet to the panel. Jeff came a few days later and did the install. Price was fair and work was done quickly.

Phase to Phase Electric was very professional. Jeff and his workers did a great job on our recessed lighting. The cuts in the ceiling were extremely neat. They installed under cabinet lighting perfectly. Installed outlets for microwave and stove and then installed appliances for me . Jeff did a great job helping us decide on what lighting to use and I would definitely use Phase to Phase again.

There was one guy who came out all day and the boss came out for 2 or 3 hours. The work took about 7 hours to complete. This is the second time we have used this company, we are very pleased with them. We got the estimate over a year ago and the price stayed the same from when it was first quoted to us. They are very professional and we will continue to use them in the future.
Description of Work: The company came out and replaced our old fuze system with a curcuit breaker. They upgraded the grounding and changed the light fixtures in the upstairs bedrooms. They installed 3 new outlets down stairs and they put an outlet in the dining room on a seperate line so it can tolerate a large air conditioner.

Initially responded very fast came out right away to look at job and write estimate. Work was scheduled soon after while I was at work. When I returned home work was done but they had failed to remove an open wire in a closet that I asked to have removed (not too big of a deal as it took me two minutes to remove myself). I asked for multiple quotes for additional work that needed to be done a couple times and never heard back.

He was very knowledgeable and professional. We were very happy with the quote as well. However, we ended up not getting a generator. Mostly because I felt uncomfortable with cans of gas on the property if an outage occurred. My husband and I will definitely use Phase to Phase when an electrician is needed in the future.
