Description of Work: I called Phase to Phase last year to get an estimate for some electrical work I needed done. Jeff responded right away, set up an appt then met me promptly at the date and time to review the work. After our meeting Jeff sent an estimate over right away. I needed sometime to do some prep work and get some other things done first so had to wait until this year. I contacted Jeff this past Fall to re-engage on my project. He again promptly came out to review the changes, sent me a new estimate and we then scheduled the work. | |Jeff and his crew showed up a few minutes early on the scheduled day and worked tirelessly throughout the day until the job was complete. I was having the service upgraded but the main panel is at the opposite end of the house from where the service line comes in to the house and the lines are run inside the house through the ceiling in the lower level which required maneuvering the lines in tight spots, not an easy job. New service lines were also being installed from the electric company's wires to a new meter box, then to a new main panel in the garage, then run a line to the panel at the other end of the house as well as replace and rewire that panel. It was a lot of work but Jeff's team did a great job and completed it in one day. | |Jeff's team was pleasant and cleaned up their work areas before leaving at the end of the day. The inspector had no issues with any of the work and signed off on the permit right away. | |I had three estimates including Phase to Phase's. They were in the middle of the three but the thing that impressed me the most was the way Jeff was patient with me, listened to my concerns and was willing to put in some extra effort to make the work as aesthetically pleasing as possible considering my house's unique construction. The personal touch was probably what sealed the deal for me for hiring Phase to Phase. | |I will be scheduling the next phase of my electrical work with Phase to Phase as soon as I'm ready. Based on my experience with Jeff and his crew I highly recommend them for anyone looking for residential electrical work. |

When I called and spoke to Jeff, he came out to evaluate what I needed within an hour! The dryer came with no receptacle or wiring included. Jeff came back the next day with everything we needed and did the work efficiently and within a short time we were in business. He was very pleasant to work with and very professional and the work he did was excellent.
Description of Work: Installed new dryer receptacle, installed outlet and electrical box hookup.

We were inside and outside the house. Jim had to crawl in small attic access panels and tight spots. He was really a great guy.
Description of Work: I needed an electrical system checked out and tested on a home I am purchasing. I needed to know if some areas were live or not for homeowner insurance. I also needed quotes for a water system grounding and some other services. I also needed a letter stating the facts for the insurance co.

+ -1 moreThe lights in our house had been flickering for several days. We called Phase to Phase and made an appointment for the following week. Suddenly, however, on a Sunday afternoon we lost power completely. I called Jeff at Phase to Phase and he arrived within 30 minutes. He found a loose neutral wire in our breaker box, but continued the investigation and isolated the remainder of the problem to a defective main breaker outdoors. He replaced the breaker and everything was back to normal. We were grateful that Jeff was willing for come out on a Sunday. He was extremely polite and professional. We'll definitely keep Phase to Phase in mind for any future work.
Description of Work: They performed a thorough check of our electrical system and replaced the main breaker on the outside of the house.

+ -1 moreOverall, an excellent experience. I emailed Jeff and he responded promptly. Upon calling him, he was nice enough to agree to come to my house during the early evening, when I get home. He asked a few quick questions about the fixture and said he'd pick up a baluster on the way, and seemed to know exactly which one to get. He arrived promptly and conducted himself in a very professional manner. Jeff replaced the baluster quickly and effortlessly. While this was a very small job, Jeff has quickly earned my confidence. I intend to use his services for any electrical needs I have in the future. Highly recommended!

+ -1 moreJeff was unbelievable. Customer service at its best. He came to my house to look at the needed work and gave me an estimate. He even called the night before to confirm the appointment. After we agreed on the work to be done, he gave me a schedule that he expected to meet and how things would be done. I was concerned about the size of the generator I needed since my house is all electric, including heat. Jeff knew the generator was going to weigh over 300 pounds and would be difficult to move around. When it was delivered to him he called me to let me know and suggested that he put a 4 wheel kit on it to make it easier to move. What a great job he did with that. Once he had the the generator set, we made an appointment to have it delivered and do the electrical work at my house to get it ready to hook up the generator. Jeff and his assistant Sean were on time and very professional. They got right to work and had the electrical work done so that we could hook up the generator in about 4 hours or so, as planned. We fired it up and Jeff ran me through the things I need to do with the generator and the transfer switch when the power goes out. All in all, a pain free experience, thanks to Jeff.
Description of Work: Purchase a 13,000 watt generator for me that I had chosen through research, have it delivered to his place of business, prep it, and install a wheel kit, since the generator weighed over 300 pounds. Deliver the generator and do the necessary electrical work, transfer switch etc., so that I can run my house off the generator when the power goes out.

Jeff removed an old ceiling fan/light and installed a new one, which was a bit more complicated, having 2 separate lights. He worked efficiently and confidently, spending the time necessary to do the installation and answer any questions we had. I would definitely contact Jeff again, at Phase to Phase Electric, whenever I might need to have electrical work performed.

While he was there, he offered to help me with several other projects I was working one, including replacing an exsiting over head light fixture, and moved our wireless internet modem and router into another location, installed a new junction box and outlet. All of the work was done in 3 hours (even thought some of it involved getting into some tight spaces). Everything was neat and clean when they were finished and we came in at $50.00 less than the estimate. I would absolutely call Jeff again with any future electrical needs and will highly recommend him to others.
Description of Work: Jeff gave us an estimate of $500.00 on 7/12/2012. On the 17th, he and his associate, Mario, replaced 2 outlet boxes, 3 light switches and repaired/replaced various wiring in our basement all of which were damaged during a thunderstorm two weeks ago. They also replaced an outdated and nonfunctional ceiling fixture in our pantry. Final price was $450.00.

+ -1 moreHe was very prompt and thankfully available to come out the same day (a Saturday) that we called. He arrived within an hour of calling him. He was very quick to discover and fix the problem with our electrical system and charged a very reasonable price.
Description of Work: In an older house we were stymied by a partial electrical outage in which replacing fuses did not rectify, but as soon as Jeff came out and got all the information about the problem (the sighting of a wisp of smoke near the actual meter) he was able to replace a fuse in the main box coming right in from the street as opposed to the fuse box.

Description of Work: We are having a problem with our stove (220 A) tripping the circuit breaker intermittently. So we wanted an estimate. We weren't sure if it was the stove or the breaker or the panel. Jeff came out took a look and found a bad breaker (burnt wires), replaced it that day and so far so good. We also requested an estimate for additional work because it seems like some circuits are overloaded -- coffee maker and microwave on the same circuit and used at the same time will trip the breaker, also coffee maker and toaster oven. Lights dim quite frequently when using appliances that have a large draw.....Jeff explained all that to us. He promptly sent us an estimate for the additional work to replace the panel and run a few new home runs, prices seem reasonable.. We are still deciding.

I had a outside light that was not working, I needed an outlet installed outside for Christmas lights and I needed another outlet box replaced. Jeff was done within 1 1/2 hours of arriving and during that time we talked about various things and he was extremely personable. He did an excellent job. I took his card and should I require electrical services I will be calling him again. His price was what was expected and very reasonable for the work he did. I would recommend him highly and utilized Angie's List to find him.

On this occasion he showed up and worked with me to recircuit two front hallway lights, remove and reinstall replacement recessed lights where the transformers had burned out, and finally he traced out and fixed a lighting circuit for half of my downstairs. I think it's important for anyone reading this to know that another electrician (also on Angie's List) had looked at that same circuit fix and quoted a whole day to repair it. Jeff identified the problem and corrected it in less than a half hour.
Description of Work: The scope of work performed on this visit included: -Rewiring two front hallway lights, -Removing old, and installing new recessed downlights, -Diagnose and rectify a non-working lighting circuit.
