The work couldn't have gone more smoothly, and everything came out perfectly. The two individuals who were assigned to the job showed up at the agreed-upon time and took only two days to complete it. They were a pleasure to deal with--polite, competent, and efficient, as well as helpful whenever we had questions or solicited their suggestions. Both days they cleaned the place up before they left.

We ended up not going to route we were originally going to take, so we did not use Heartwood Refacing for the project. However, I was very pleased with the service and attention we received - they were very responsive to our questions and modified their estimates based on changes we were contemplating. We would definitely contact them when we need to reface any cabinets in the future.

Overall fine. Some confusion on a custom piece but they worked it out to our satisfaction.

from start to finish, Heartwood was great. I worked with Bob initially, who was extremely responsive and helpful. Mark was ghe project manager, and Fred and Jeremiah installed the cabinets. Wayne the owner took over towards the end with managing the project. cannot say enough good things, they were extremely flexible with my myriad requests and their portion of the kitchen remodel was only about 4 weeks, which is great given the scope of what was done.

Company was easy to work with. Called back if I had a question before work was to begin. They came when they said they would. Did excellent work and came back promptly when minor adjustment was needed.

I did not use the provider's services since I had second thoughts about what my needs really were. That being said, they were responsive and professional and I would contact them for futures services.

Started on schedule - was scheduled for 3 days, took 5 because of backlog at shop. When finished was fabulous! Looks like a new kitchen. Arsenio (the carpenter) very professional. Left spotless when finished.

Arsino (the installer) was very professoinal, efficient, well organized. Very good work particularly with what he had to work with, 45 year old cabinets in kitchen home and new cabinets by previous owner, in family room.

They did a fantastic job and we were very pleased with the outcome.

Everyone at this company is very professional and really wants you to love your new kitchen. The salesman, Bob, just couldn't do enough to be sure you ordered exactly what you wanted. He was so pleasant and really knows his products Fred, is an artist and can make just about anything out of wood. He also is so very pleasant but more than that he's a perfectionist and puts pride into his craftsmanship. There were a few problems but that's to be expected with a project this size. Wayne Phelps, the owner, addressed any issues and made sure they were fixed to our satisfaction. He's a wonderful businessman and stands behind his company. My new kitchen is my dream kitchen and I can't thank Heartwood Cabinet Refacing enough. You will not be disappointed with this company, they're top notch!

Arsenio, the carpenter was punctual and meticulous in his work. We are very pleased with the cabinets. We had a problem with the salesman. We had signed the contract and realized the next day that as members of Angies List we were due a 10% discount. He was reluctant to give it to us. The owner later called and told us that we could get the discount. We had seen Heartwood's work and knew that it was reliable company. That's why we hired them.

sales rep Bob brought sample doors to be installed in old kitchen. Installer and carpenter Fred began installing about 6 weeks later. I supplied backsplash for installer. New cabinets were beautiful, but existing cabinets, which had been built in 1960, still had all the rough wood and years of contact paper. The company said that they were only contracted to reface existing, but the interior looked horrendous, and I ended up painting them and re-cutting new shelves myself. With all I spent, I would have thought they could at least paint to match the new stuff and replaced the shelving. They even had to be told about leftover construction debris needing removal. I paid another painter to repaint kitchen when cabinet work was done, since evidently they did not include painting when finished.

The new cabinets in our kitchen are beautiful! The crown molding we requested just puts the perfect finishing touch on the cabinets. When we first contacted Heartwood, we asked if the kitchen could be completed by a certain date - they said yes, did some shuffling of other projects,I think, and the kitchen was done by the requested date. They were easy to work with, professional and did a super clean up job.

We couldn't be happier with how our kitchen turned out. The guys at Heartwood are fantastic. We had a very positive experience all the way from the sales consultation to the installation. The sales process was low pressure and very transparent. Bob had great ideas and let us see how much different options would cost -- this was something we really appreciated as it was not something that other companies were willing to do for us. In the end we found the pricing to be very competitive, and the options for doors and drawers to be extensive. Installation was quick -- they were done in just over 4 days! There were really no hiccups in the installation process and the installers were able to tweek a couple of things that we asked them to without any issues. They were courteous and punctual. they cleaned up after themselves everyday, and put their tools away each day so that we could access the kitchen at night. They really are great craftsmen. The cabinets look fantastic, the tile backsplash is beautiful, and the granite counters and undermount sink really make the whole kitchen pop...just what we were looking for!

The two men who installed the kitchen were excellent. Mario is a perfectionist and an excellent tradesman! As in any new/remodeling job there were some glitches, but all were handled with excellent customer service by owner, Wayne. Would highly recommend!

We cannot say enough about the quality and work of Heartwood. From start to finish our experience was top notch ! I had been begging my husband for 10 years to reface. He was a non believer until seeing the work Heartwood did in my mother's kitchen. This was by far the best thing we have done to our home ever ! I feel like I have a brand new kitchen !!! We had custom Martin Cabinets from back in the 70's so our shells were great quality, they were just dark and outdated. Thanks to Heartwood we have a brand new kitchen that we are so proud to show off !!!!! I especially appreciated the attention to detail of the installers, they were simply amazing ! This was a seamless project from start to finish which is rare these days ! I also want to thank the owner as it was refreshing to see that he personally comes out to see the finished product. With the big box stores taking over, this type of attention is beyond appreciated ! Thank you to the whole Heartwood team for making my dream kitchen a reality at a price we could afford !!!!!!!

The Heartwood folks are professional in every way. Communications were very good and they were done when they said they would be done. The workmen are true craftsmen. They can do anything. They keep the area very clean and clean up at the end of each day. I am thrilled with my "new" kitchen and bathrooms. Everyone is impressed by the workmanship.

The job was performed by one technician (Arturro) who arrived on time, worked consistently throughout each day and did a nice job cleaning up after himself before leaving each day. The total job took 5 days, but could have been done in 4 except for change requests that came up during construction. The tech showed great respect for our home and privacy, and kept us well informed each day as to the expected progress and pending next steps in the construction. He also showed great consideration and respect for my wife's chemical sensitivity, and made every effort to apply adhesives and cleaning chemicals to materials outside, and then brought them in the house to minimize fumes. He also ran fans pointing out windows and doors to provide additional exhaust as well. I was skeptical of the apearance of the laminate vs. real wood facing, but it came out great. Extremely pleased with the results. A couple of watch outs: They only treat the exterior surfaces of the cabinets. The owner is responsible for refinishing the interiors and door jams if you want those to match. Also, they apply the laminate in large sheets, and sometimes the grain will go in opposing directions (on the same cabinet) if you're not specific that you dont want that. I caught it after the first cabinet was done, and it was corrected without any problems. Had a couple of communication issues with the office and/or sales staff, but the quality and work ethic of the technician still made it worth-while. Other than that, it was a great experience. I spent $6500 on a kitchen that looks like I spent $15K.!
