Description of Work: was to do some tree trimming and then fall clean up and then plowing for us - never showed for the plowing after the first snow storm, never returned calls to come plow.

+ -1 moreDean was recommended by owner and a couple clients in husband's barber shop. He responded to initial call quickly and a date was set and kept. He followed up with a quote shortly afterwards. He met with us a couple of times to show us samples and colors. Work was done as scheduled in record time. Workers included Dean. They were all very professional and did the job carefully. They did all clean upon a daily basis and even replaced window blinds without being asked. I thought it would be a messy job and it wasn't. They were very neat and careful and never left a mess behindl We were extremly impressed and are very satisfied with the work. We highly recommend Duprey Remodeling.
Description of Work: All casement windows were removed and replaced. Two facing the back deck were converted into double hung. Outside framing added to windows and doors to deck done as well so that framing would all be the same.

+ -1 moreOverall the work went well with the main work on the house and garage roof rip and install being completed in three days. Dean Dupree was regularly present to over see and do the job in spite of being hospitalized the prior week. He was flexible with scheduling which allowed for tree trimming to be completed before any roofing was done. He gave a clear itemized estimate and did explain any of the problems that might be encountered as the work progressed. The crew that did the work was professional and did an excellent job. They took care to be certain that all roofing debris ended up in the dumpster. On job completion they raked the area clean and left everything tidy. The appearance of the house has definitely improved.
Description of Work: This job involved ripping off two layers of asphalt roofing from the gambrel style roof of the house. The front sloped section required ripping off three layers (one layer of cedar shingles plus two layers of asphalt roofing). The siding on the three front dormers had to be removed (and later be reinstalled) to accommodate the height change with the new roofing. Lead step flashing was installed around the center chiminey and where a rear single floor addition projects from the back slope of the main roof. New vent boots, a cobra ridge vent and cap along with Tamco ice and water guard on the eaves and around the chiminey were installed. New white drip edges and rake edges were installed. The roof deck was covered by a type 15 roofing felt followed by installation 30 year Tamko shingles. The rake and fascia boards were wrapped with white trim coil. Another part of this job was to install a new roof to the attached garage. Lead flashing was installed at the junction of the garage roof to the main house. The top edge of the lead flashing is held in place with a metal cleat. The garage roof was covered with fiber board to get a smooth surface followed by a self adhered membrane cap on this nearly flat roof.

+ -1 moreDean was easy to reach by phone and accessible any time of day. He came out and provided a full quote of $9800, which he stuck to (plus $62 for plywood we later needed to purchase due to excessive damage discovered during the job). Work started on time the day scheduled, with a crew of 4 men. Because rain was expected the next day, the crew worked hard, late into the evening to cover a section. This happened again later in the week when they again worked a long day to finish the roof. The job was done over 4 days with time off for rain, which was much faster than we expected for our large roof. It came out beautifully and we'll contact Dean for any future home improvement work -he does remodeling too.
Description of Work: Stripped 2 layers of old roofing shingles. Replaced 2 sheets of damaged plywood. Replaced all flashing. Installed roofing felt, ice and water shields, drip edge, 30 year shingles. Resealed skylights and installed one new skylight (window was purchased on our own.)

+ -1 moreVery competent and helpful. Had leaks in kitchen. Second layer roof was put on six years ago. We first thought it was a problem with a skylight and had that replaced by original person who did roof six years ago. When leaks continued we called Dean who came out the same day. He immediately determined that there were serious problems. Once two layers of shingles were removed, it was apparent that there were leaks in a lot of areas, not just where it came through in the kitchen. Crew had to put up new plywood. Dean was very professional and provided suggestions and alternatives. Our roof is very low-pitched and he suggested that we should also put ice and water shield underneath shingles to ensure no future problems. Very professional and thorough, clean up was excellent. You might pay a little more, but it's well worth it!
