Trust her at your own risk. She was nice and attentive at first. Once the offer was in and accepted, she showed her dodgy side. Aside from a personality we found unpleasant, her professional conduct lacked. For example, at one point the contract needed amending. The correct procedure - according to three attorneys we contacted - was to cancel the existing contract, and draft a new one with the accepted changes. In essence, that's what happened, but Doreen - NOT an attorney - insisted it wasn't a new contract; that it was just a revision. This resulted in a humorous glitch in the new contract: according to the dates by the respective signatures, the seller technically accepted our offer three days before we made one. That was the first of numerous irksome interactions we had with her. In my opinion, she is not to be trusted neither personally nor professionally. There are several good agents in this area. Use one of them. Avoid Doreen.

Awful. She was very courteous until we actually bid on a house. Then she did an about-face. After our offer was accepted, the contract came back illegible. So she redrafted it. When she did, key dates changed (i.e.-closing date, mortgage contingency date, as well as the date we signed it) constituting a new contract. We brought this to her attention, as it altered the time we had to get things accomplished. She said we were wrong; that just the first contract was altered. FOUR SEPERATE LAWYERS agreed with us. However, in good faith, my wife and I went along with it and decided not to refute anything until we had the signed 2nd contract. Well, despite CONSTANT efforts, it didn't come for 2 more weeks (go figure!). When we did get it, there was one new issue. The seller had signed it with the same date as the original offer, meaning that somehow, she accepted our offer 3 days before we made the offer! NOTE: I have A LOT more to say, but unfortunately, now I'm out of room!
Description of Work: Very little to say. We were first time home buyers, and so were a little green in this respect. She did what real estate agents do - showed us a listing, took our bid, drew up a contract, and did all of that middle-person stuff in between bidding and closing. That's about it. Personally, I still don't really know what real estate agents do that any other human being cannot do, but oh well. Maybe that's just me. From what I can tell, real estate agents are not necessary. Their job is a hoax.
